Excellent Time!We had a birthday party with a few couples and wanted to go out for the evening. Staff was very friendly and even helped us with the booking. We joined a beginner lesson to start the evening and learned a few tips to get us moving once the dance started. Dance instructors were upbeat and knowledgeable.People were very friendly and welcoming, and truly enjoyed our time out. Very mixed crowd in age and we did not feel out of place. Our group had an awesome time and we are looking forward to going again. Space was open and dance floor was spacious. Bathrooms were also clean which is always a plus.

Absolutely lovely people that run the club and have cultivated this fine community of swing dancers, jazz musicians, and lovers of all things swing related. I have had the pleasure to play here for many years, and I am always impressed by the warmth and talent of this fine community.

I’ve been looking for a dance club for a while - I found Suburban Swing sitting in my “backyard” through friends!Quality people, great music, and an atmosphere to simply be yourself, Suburban Swing is your best opportunity to jump into Swing Dance for your first time or grow it for the hundredth.

Go weekly there. Music is great and people are super friendly. Regular dance classes to take therr are top notch

Oh my goodness what an awesome time! Jason from Suurban Swing came to our Bakerview Music Academy spring break camp where our young musicians were learning about swing music. So Hason taught them some swing dance. The kids absolutely loved it! Fantastic time! We all can't wait to have him back!!

Dance has been so therapeutic for me in so many ways I can't even explain.I am filled with a sense of belonging and happiness I can say, I haven't felt in many many years. Up until recently I didn't think it was possible, and I spent a lot of time alone and secluded, in unhealthy thought and behaviour patterns, feeling stuck and depressed and wondering if this was how the rest of my life was going to be.Now I am surrounded with laughter, smiles, energy, life, enthusiasm, beautiful people and brilliant, creative minds. My tears of sadness have been replaced by tears of joy and gratitude. The happiness I feel at dance is spilling over into my regular life, my close friends and family have noticed a huge change in my over all well being, mood and energy levels.To the community at suburban swing: Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting, nurturing and fostering growth in baby" dancers and encouraging such a positive and inclusive atmosphere. It has been life altering for me."

Great place to learn! Beginner lesson is helpful, even if you've danced before. Different 'advanced' moves each week. If you know the moves, you can help others. It's an encouraging environment!

I have been swing dancing for a while now and every time I come to suburban swing, I always have a blast! Never a dull moment! This place is for everybody, no matter how experienced or new you are! The people at suburban swing help you leave as an experienced dancer who already has a few tricks & moves in their tool belt! Fantastic music selection, great workshops to improve your skills, awesome retreats, and welcoming beginner lessons before the dance even starts! The perfect atmosphere for making new friends, learning, and just having a great time dancing the night away! Highly recommend attending! You'll catch the dancing bug in no time :) Thanks for all the great years!

Warning: you may get hooked on dancing!My fiancé and I love suburban swing. We moved to Abbotsford and were looking for a way to have fun and make friends. Suburban swing is a welcoming community of dancers. The instructors, Jason and Justine, are top notch and very patient with newcomers. We instantly felt like we belonged, and are now going every week! We got private lessons with Jason and Laz who both helped us with the basics and choreograph our wedding dance.They were patient and knowledgeable; all the instructors are great!

This past Tuesday evening at Bonson Community Center in Pitt Meadows, a Blues and Jazz dance lesson was taught by Kameron and assisted by Jen. It was a much fun! It was my first time to dance Blues and Jazz and I LOVE ❤️ it!! We need more of this!!
