Lakeridge Health Whitby

All you get here is a production line. I found reception staff to be very rude and condescending and extremely unhelpful. I decided to make a change and requested my blood work. What I got was the report completed by the doctor with inappropriate comments based on the fact that she was not listening to what i said but would rather get the production of patients out the door. I would recommend finding a different location if you are looking for help.

The staff here are lazy and don't really like to be bothered it seems. They seem to do as little work as possible and try to get clients to go to other places for help. It really seems like they want as little responsibility as possible. It wasn't busy but trying to get proper answers from the staff seemed like I was just annoying them and they were impatient. They make as many excuses as they can and then when you call them out on it they just say they changed their policy and that is that. Don't come here with your health issues, if you can avoid it. You will get a lot of unwanted stress and disrespect

The place is well maintained, lit well, and clean. This Hospital has a Major problem with a shortage of Nurses and PSWS. The few that are working are very friendly, approachable and trying their best to get to all their patients and their needs. The food trays are constantly wrong, they don't match the slip of paper info. We either get things not on the slip or things are missing. Parking is ok. Please see the pictures!

After an MVA and needing medical Rehab, I was transported to Whitby and my stay was great. The nursing staff made my stay as great as they could all things considered. The physio team helped me tremendously

This Hospital Does Not Have An Emergency Department.Great staff, Great medical services.

Staff here are fantastic. Doctors and especially nurses are thoughtful and caring.

Lovely CareMy Mom said goodbye to us yesterday from Lakeridge Health in Whitby.While she was there only a short time it was easy to see these folks care. And I mean they ALL care. I witnessed the staff taking care of elderly folks with a wide range of challenges. All interactions were lovely to watch. They always knew what was happening with Mom when we asked and were very responsive to every question. And at the last moments they were gentle and caring.These folks embody what we have all come to realize during the pandemic that nurses are the backbone of our healthcare system. While every person in the health care system is vital its these folks that are front line providing much needed comfort and expert health care to patients and families alike.My family is very grateful to the team on 4West. Thank you all!

Very concise and organized .They let me take sister in wheel chair outside for a little sun . Wear mask and make an appointment . Proof of your vacinations required . Usually one visitor at a time ,unless special circumstances .Serene place .Turn at Victoria St and take Gordon south .Peace to your loved ones.

It’s bad they are short in staff there no nurses and the doctor have no idea what is she is doing in the hospital
