Honestly I am not sure how people put any star to this place... if I have the option to put 0 Start I would. I went to this place tonight based on the local reviews , however I would never go back again. I ordered Roast Angus which came full of fat and not eatable, The server came and asked how is the food and I answered that it is really terrible, she immediately took the plate from me and offered to discount the item. she did not even offer to replace it with the proper meal. when she gave me the bill, I found that the discount was only $5 off this item. I explained that I did not even eat what I ordered and she said the owner would not want to discount the full amount.First if the owner of this place runs it based on providing good food, then he failed measurablySecond it seems the owner is so stingy and does not stand behind his service even if they do a mistake.This is a local Pop in Oakville and depends on the word of mouth and if they do not offer good services/food to the local community , I do not think they should be in this food business.Would never come back .

This is the only pub that has onion rings that seriously tempt my dad, they're that good. Love when I get to come here

We stopped by here on a nice day, the waiter made us feel like we were not welcome, very grumpy and smelled strongly of cigarettes. We only ordered beer because it didn't seem worth it. He didn't even come by to get us the bill, we had to ask someone else at the bar on our way out. Also had dirty plates at the end of the bar no one cleaned up, not very clean looking. The other staff was not as rude but I would not recommend.

The waitress was sweet, the music doesn't suit the atmosphere, please don't order the chicken pot pie because it is just like the cheap frozen ones you can get in the little round tin at Walmart. Won't be back. Hoped for the best, but alas they all can't be winners.

For a pub, the food was much better than expected! The green curry and liver dish was very enjoyable. Service was speedy and friendly. The staff appears to follow pandemic safety measures well and was diligent/cleanly. My only complaint was that they were out of tennents! Other than that, great place to make your local pub

I can’t say enough about this location and how it’s a great pub for our community. The staff are absolutely fantastic and know their local clientele by name, which we all appreciate. Thank you for doing the little extras for my family when it comes to birthdays and group events. I will continue to support them here in Oakville. There are a few not so great pubs in the area but this one truly stands out and deserves your business… Great take out too!

I had a celebration of life for my mother here, and it was perfection. Perfectly timed, beautifully decorated, saw to my every need. It’s cozy and warm, the staff is friendly and the food is really good with a really good selection on tap.

We had our annual Christmas luncheon here for the first time. A nice group of 24 golfers who play each week during golf season. Portions were a good size and pricing very reasonable.

Great atmosphere and service. The onion rings are battered perfectly and not oliy at all. Compliments to the chef. I'm sure the batter on the fish and chips would've been amazing. Great on tap beer selection with plenty of the everywhere.
