I was so impressed last year when I called from Alberta - searching for the right equipment (hot water on demand and propane heater… and I have to say I am impressed again - today was just a special order thermocouple to have as a spare - the service you provided for a 35 dollar part was above and beyond.

I called down to get an estimate on what we needed to set up for solar. They told me I had to go on line and fill out the form which I did that evening. Two days went by and since I never heard back from them we decided to stop by their store and get the info we needed. There were approximately 4 young people working and one came over to try to assist us but wasn’t knowledgeable enough and told us that the person we needed had just stepped out. We waited for approximately an hour while the young person attempted to get some info for us. We finally said can you please email the info to us and gave him our number and email address. The other 3 young people were still hanging out around the counter. That was approximately three weeks ago and still we have heard nothing. Very disappointed in their service.

Beware! Product arrived with very poor quality. Had to reassemble bent parts and over torqued screws of poor quality.Very expensive and not worth the money. Company does not stand behind products but happy to take your money.

Bought a gas heater from them, it arrived damaged and it's now been almost a full year of it sitting in our garage. Finally got some answers but took almost a year.

I purchased a Firman 8000 generator and had it professionally installed and connected to my main house electricity through a new panel. I keep it in my storage shed, with a power cable running to the house underground. The electrician said it would be plenty powerful for the size of my house (3BR bungalow). It works great, and as winter approaches I have peace of mind that I will be able to have electricity regardless of storms and outages.

Terrible, terrible Customer Service on top of a defective product. After informing them that the water pump I purchased upon their recommendation is defective, they keep coming up with shifting polices that will cost you money and time - just to return it!! Then you have to pay for testing" and "Packaging" and "Shipping" to perhaps get back a "Refurbished" unit?!??!?!? Constant verbiage with the rep that doesn't do anything but add more frustration to the customer. If I had know all this

After great deliberation, I decided to order a Unique brand propane fridge. It arrived with a big puncture in the back from a forklift. We did not see it immediately, but when we did, I contacted Cabin Depot right away. Nothing has been done about any of it. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WORTHLESS. I'm out $1,288.98 now and am stuck with an irreparable refrigerator!

Propane stove came on time in perfect condition, super easy install, helpful customer service, very competitive price!! Just a good company. We will be buying more off grid supplies from this fantastic group of professionals!!

I’ve made multiple purchases from Cabin Depot. I own an off grid camp that I’m slowly equipping myself with those kinds of items that make that lifestyle a little easier. Each time that I decided on a new purchase, I’ve contacted Cabin Depot to discuss and ask as many questions as I could come up with. Answers that I receive are truthful,straightforward with no feeling of obligations that I have to make the purchase ( even though my mind was made up anyway). Excellent staff, pricing and “ on sale” means on Sale. No gimmicks! Quick shipping ( I live in an adjoining province) and QUALITY products. No junk here! I have previously visited the store in person and they have great displays with a lot of products you would never think you need, however…once you get into this lifestyle, you find yourself looking for those smaller things. The On Demand hot water showers are incredible and now I’ve stepped up my solar game. This is the place to ask questions, do your research and purchase quality off grid products that perform!
