Talk of the Town Travel

I feel very badly to have to write a negative review about Talk of the Town / SunWing but we've had a dreadful experience and feel taken. We booked as a group of 13 traveling through Toronto and were sold a package including a Coco Bongo excursion and travel to and from Cancun airport to Playa Del Carmen.Coco Bongo- For the Toronto Ladies it costed $56 (a discount was applied for booking the flights with the package), and $113 for the remainder. Sunwing provided a voucher which we were to exchange with a representative for an actual ticket. The representative did not show up to meet us. This event was intended to be the big bachelorette night out and we ended up waiting for hours in three different lines dressed in our black cocktail dresses and heels and having altercations with the various Coco Bongo staff. We emailed our representative who told us to go drink (WHERE? WE'RE WAITING IN A LINE!!) We finally got in to a packed venue where surprise! there is no seating for this show" which consists of mostly watching other tourists dance on platforms with less than 30 minutes of choreographed show. We literally couldn't move and stood under a fire exit (one for 4 different levels) because we felt so unsafe and uncomfortable. If there is ever a fire

Talk of the Town Travel is great. I've several cruises through the agency and have the best prices with perks. I very much recommend Talk of the Town Travel for their professionalism and responsiveness. Henry and his team are great.

We booked 2 trips with Henry and both were fantastic. The first one was in Disney World for the whole family (before Covid) and the other one was a special stay for my wife and myself in Scottsdale. Henry was very attentive and really listened to what we were requesting. He also gave us excellent advice on places to stay, eat and visit. He was not only knowledgeable he really cared about our interests. I would highly recommend Talk of the Town Travel and cannot wait until we travel again. We have found him to be an extremely competent, patient, and imaginative agentwho is unfailingly cheerful, hard working and unflappable in an emergency.As an example of the above, our ship encountered very heavy weather while crossing the Atlantic as a result passengers were informed the day before our intended arrival in New York that we would be a day late. Panic stations on the part of most of the passengers! We simply called Henry. On arrival at the pier, we boarded a bus to a nearby hotel, were whisked up to a lovely suite and all arrangements for our flight to Toronto the next day had been already completed.That is what a good travel agent is all about.
