Matpol Metal Roof Manufacturing LTD

We had our aluminum roof leak after 5 years. No one in the company honoured the warranty which we were promised when we signed the contract. No on was returning our phone calls or answering our email. Once we got on the phone with Jack (owner) who was very dismissive and made an excuse to get of the phone even though we knew exactly the spot the water was coming in. Jack was extremely agitated, raised his voice and was combative. We were promised by Jack and also the lady at the front desk that the crew will call the next day or the upcoming week and that it was all going to be fixed. We waited for a few weeks for someone to contact us and because of the rainstorms in the forecast we had no choice but to pay another company which came promptly, took lots of pictures up on the roof and fixed everything. Problem was in the flashing, there was insufficient caulking around the bathroom vent which from some reason was fully placed on top of the metal roof plus we discovered that we were missing screws around the perimeter of the entire roof which we also had to pay another company to replace. Wouldn’t recommend the company to anybody, there is no warranty on roof installation and no repairs even if you would pay them! You are on your own!

Poor customer service, someone finally came out to look at my roof, after months of complaining. Still won't transfer the warranty as requested. Threatening to sue me for slander, for leaving honest reviews.

6 years later.Roof still looks great.An original panel needed replacing, dented but was noticed few months later. Took 2 years to resolve. Jack the owner wasn't interested and if it wasn't for his daughter, it would have never been done.Over the last few winters there's been an ice jam at the end of the main valley that drains at the front of the house.A closer look shows that the panels and gable were not properly installed which caused a dam.The salesman doesn't work directly for them anymore but has tried to get Jack to stand behind his product and pay for the fix but he's not interested and just ignores the claim.The product is good, the installers were good, the salesman at the time was good. The company and the owner, Jack is terrible.I was actually able to get a warranty certificate which I hold for the 50 year warranty, don't have much faith in it should I have a claim. Would just have my lawyer handle it based on the other reviews I've read. Jack blatantly doesn't care so I guess legal is the only way with him.I have referred many to this company, they've used my house in their ads without my consent. I definitely regret doing this now. Looks like I'm not the only one this guy has taken advantage of.I do not recommend this company!!May,2016. Roof was installed just over a week ago and looks great. It should be the last roof this house will need. I have a fancy shed and decided to have that done as well and I'm glad I did. The area Sales Manager was very knowledgeable, professional and answered all my questions. I trusted his recommendation on the color and he was bag on. There was no direct contact with the company in New Hamburg because everthing was done through Steve the Sales Manager but I trust him and there was really no need. The installation was handled by Bill and his young crew. Couldn't find more professional, knowledgeable and respectful group of young men. There was no standing around and the 5 of them worked together like a well tuned machine. Clean up was continuous and the property was left clean, all the time. There was minimal disruption to the neighbors. It goes without saying that this was an investment and will add value to the home.We have had heavy rain and high winds over the last few days and you don't hear anything. So far the product, installation and appearance experience couldn't have been any better and I would strongly recommend this company if you're in the market for a high quality metal roof. This metal roof comes with a 50 year transferable warranty. I've paid for it but haven't seen the written guarantee yet. I expect to receive it within the next couple of weeks and hope I don't have to chase it.

The man from Matpol Metal Roofing just finished the roof. It looks beautiful, the man were friendly and nothing is left behind. I would recommend this company for sure. My neighbor was already interested. I am glad I decided having a metal roof, it also will value up my house. Thanks again for a clean and beautiful job, well done. Good quality and good price. And it looks great. This metal roof was installed on top of our old shingles. Hardly any garbage needed to go to the landfill. Recommended to friends and they were happy, too.

We are victims of their negligence and incompetence. Very badly installed roof and no after sales support whatsoever. The installation took more than two months and was of terrible quality. Only misleading and false information from MatPol throughout the whole process and to this day. After a year of asking and begging them to come and fix the faulty installation we now have an unimaginable damage to the house which needs section of the roof removal and replacement of the attic structure. In addition one wall in our living room needs to be stripped down and rebuilt as we now have mold and soaked insulation due to leak from this roof.
