EagleRider Motorcycle Rentals and Tours Sturgis

Our experience started out with a free upgrade from a 900 to an XP1000 because all the 900s were already taken for the day. Awesome!While going through the pretrip inspection, we found the attendant knew almost nothing about the vehicle or the trails. This was not very helpful, nor confidence inspiring.The vehicle didn't come with any storage, which was disappointing. Just one box to put some clothes and drinks would be huge. Make sure to bring your own cooler/bags/straps. For an extra $25, you can get a roof and windshield.The tires were inflated way too high which made the ride very rough. Dropped pressure from ~18psi down to 10psi and the ride was significantly improved.About 2 hours into our ride we had an engine misfire code which sent the vehicle into limp mode. We were riding ~45mph down a fairly smooth logging rode when it happened, so not caused by misuse. Called into the shop for a suggestion of what to do and to ask if we could get a partial refund if we returned the vehicle. We were put on hold for 20-25min while waiting for the guy who could give us an answer and finally got tired of waiting and just decided to take it back.What saved our experience with EagleRider is that when we got back, they had already made the decision to significantly reimburse us for our issues!There's definitely room for improvement, but we are extremely thankful for the customer service of the free upgrade and the reimbursement for vehicle issues that were not our fault. Thank you EagleRider for being fair and reasonable with the amount of compensation! It was a fair business deal in my opinion and I left happy/satisfied.All in all, I would definitely rent from them again. I love knowing that a business will back any issues that are fairly their fault, take ownership of the issue and make a fair compensation. This is becoming rare these days! I always feel like I'm taken advantage of by companies, but here I felt like I was taken care of. THAT is highly important to me and gives me confidence in doing business here in the future.

We are from the Netherlands visiting the Black Hills, and rented a Polaris 4x4 for a day and 2 Indian motorcycles a week later. Both times the service of Eaglerider Sturgis was very, very good. They took their time to explane everything and where just very kind. The bikes and Polaris were well maintained and we had a great time driving them in the Hills. I surely would go there again next time!

Rented a bike here for my son. Todd was really amazing. He was really friendly, easy going to deal with when we mistakenly kept bike 1 day more. I highly recommend this place. I very happy Vermont family. Thank you Eagle Rider.

We rented a slingshot 5 months in advance only to get there to pick it up and be told ours was wrecked the day before however they tried to get a hold of a week earlier?? There were two sitting out front as well. We have to wait 5 days to get our money back so ya I call bull! we have lots of friends who rent for bike week but they wont rent there any more! Not happy our trip was messed up do this bull! Oh they pulled the same lie on my son too! Rent from Lead they took great care of my son!

Really friendly staff! I rented an chieftain darkhorse for a weekend ride and it wasn’t available when I arrived, but they made up for it with a chieftain limited without batting an eye. This is my second time renting from Eagle Rider in Sturgis and I will do so again in the future!

My friend and I had quite the experience with this EagleRider. Unfortunately we had an accident with one of the bikes. We felt absolutely terrible and did everything we could to make the situation better. We transported the bike back to the dealership the same night of the accident and then showed up before the dealership opened the next morning so we could address the issue first thing. That morning, we were greeted with a very concerned and considerate, “The boss is pissed. You better break out your checkbook”, despite the fact that the bike was fully covered by their $0 deductible damage waiver. The “boss” preferred to handle business by stomping around the back of the shop, pouting and relaying snide comments to his associate. They only said they were glad my friend made it out of the accident with only minor injuries after about 30 minutes of rude comments about how inconvenient it is for them to deal with the insurance company. I’m sympathetic that our accident had a cost to the business, but when your business is renting unfamiliar bikes to visitors who will be riding on unfamiliar roads, this can’t be the first time EagleRider has dealt with this kind of incident. If this kind of incident is surprising to the boss, he might want to consider a new industry.When I was returning my bike on Sunday morning (the week before the rally), they had a line out the door and only one person staffed. I was dropping off the bike with a 3.5 hour buffer before my flight and the wasted time at EagleRider almost made me miss my flight.Do yourself a favor and rent from Rapid City Harley Davidson EagleRider. We rented another bike for this trip from that location and it took maybe 5 minutes for pick up and return. They appropriately staff their dealership and were more personable and helpful. Plus it’s closer to the Rapid City airport so you can get riding even faster.

Staff and equipment were both top notch!! we will for sure be back next year and try new trails. Was an awesome way to spend a day with family and friends exploring the Black Hills in an ATV.
