I highly recommend this absolutely fantastic shop. I went in with nothing more than a desire to begin weaving. Ryan set me up with a loom and got me started on the weft and weave! I have nothing but good things to say about this beautiful place, definitely check it out and support local <3

The type of store I heave dreams about. Too bad I'm on the opposite coast! I visited in the spring and I can't wait to go back. I always look for fibre stores when I travel and Knotty by Nature is by far my favorite! So many amazing things to inspire, love!

I’m not too into weaving or fibre arts, but I do love to do my Christmas shopping there because it’s a great environment, and it’s full of all kinds of handmade locally crafted gifts. And Ryan is such a good guy!

Absolutely wonderful experience ♡ My daughter and I recently attended a class learning how to crochet (not at this store) and fell into the hobby quite ambitiously. We wanted to each make a blanket for our first project and simply did a quick Google search for yarn stores in Victoria open on a late Sunday afternoon. By fluke, we found Knotty By Nature - best stumbled upon Google discovery!! The store owner was absolutely fabulous, full of knowledge and willingness to share said knowledge. He was teaching a customer and her daughter macrame, and still took the time to help us pick our yarn, crochet hooks, and answer all of our bazillion questions!! Very patient, friendly, and welcoming environment. And he even took the time to wind our yarn so it would be really for use immediately.Such an awesome experience, we will definitely be back. Well worth the 4.9 stars Google has given. ♡

Also my friends/co-workers and I enjoyed a wonderful weaving class with Megan (Slyspun on Insta) here at this location. If you are in the area it is worth checking out!

I love the quality of the products (different from other shops in town) especially yarn from custom woolen mills in Alberta, the selection, service, friendliness, and the other handmade items for sale.

I had a lovely experience purchasing yarn here and also got to learn how to wind my skeins into cakes! Im grateful that Ryan took the time to explain how to do it and it was a fun activity! Will definitely be back anytime I come to Victoria.

Wonderful shop. Great selection of beautiful wool. So many gorgeous colours and a lot of local and hand dyed fibres. Really good selection of needle felting materials (core wool, felting wool, needles, etc.). The employees are really helpful and knowledgeable. 10/10.
