Sweet Rock Ice Cream

Fantastic ice cream and exceptional service. I had my first visit last weekend and really appreciated the friendly service from the young girl working and the delicious ice cream (and chocolate). The flavours ranged from classic to unique and they offer free samples to taste before you buy. Waffle cones are also delicious. Note that Aunt Sarah's chocolate (Trinity) is also sold here. This location allows for the perfect Bonavista loop of gluttony where I can stop by Bonavista Social Club for lunch, Sweet Rock for dessert and get some chocolates for the road (great prices btw) to hold me over until Trinity! Make sure you stop by when in town, you'll love it.

Wanted to try it while visiting. The best ice cream I've ever had. Partridgeberry cheesecake. They rotate many flavours so I'm not sure that you can always find your favourite.

What can I say. I love ice cream. This stuff is home made. We even had home made waffle cones. The sorbet is really good too. Treat yourself. It is worth it.

Another wonderful ice cream experience. The staff /server was lovely. Helped make sure my child with a tree nut allergy had the safest experience! There is truly nothing nothing like homemade ice cream made with excellent fresh ingredients in a handmade waffle cone! We will definitely return again!

The store itself is beautiful and clean. The ice cream not so great in my opinion. Almost $4 for one scoop, had flavor called pothole, that really did not have much flavor at all. Not sure what I was expecting. it was creamy but no real flavor! The cone itself was also not fresh at all, kind of on the soggy side

Yum! This place makes hand-made ice cream fresh basically every day. Need I say more for you to visit? Nestled in historical Bonavista, it's ideal to grab a few scoops and go on a scenic drive or walk for a lovely and relaxing afternoon activity. The staff are friendly and will answer any questions that you may have. They always have a few flavours and experiment a lot but you can't go wrong with the standard chocolate. It's amazing!

Locally made ice cream or locally made chocolates? Yes to both! Highly recommend stopping in for a sweet treat. They also have serbert for a non-dairy option. Parking available across the street.

The ice cream is very well made. I love the fruity kinds made into milk shakes. Very kind service.

Delicious ice cream - really loved the maple walnut because it was filled with walnuts! Texture was perfect.
