Awful. A Hugo Boss Suit ruined.It looks as if they haven’t taken up the suit trousers whatsoever with a poor interlocking seam which came loose immediately.The suit jacket was left unfinished with the cotton coming loose too.We have had to go to another tailor to rectify this work, who were shocked at the poor quality of the stitching.Robbed of our £35! Do not go here.

We took in an expensive down duvet for cleaning. We explained at the time that we would be back a few weeks later to collect it as we were going on holiday.On returning to collect the duvet, we were told the item needed another clean and to come back the following week, LIE number one.We returned a week later to be told that they couldn't find it....but that we had taken too long to come back to pick it up!Another week passed, we were the told the duvet had been handed to the wrong client, could we return in another week to collect it!Several weeks later we are told that it wasn't our duvet, more lies!DON'T TRUST YOUR BELONGINGS WITH THESE COWBOYS

Excellent job altering 3 pairs of trousers also shortened some jeans very neatly.

I should have looked at the reviews before going to this company. They have destroyed an £100 dress by poorly cutting the fabric and re hemming completely wonky and all different measurements. Dress is now unevenly long at front and short at the back. The owner was argumentative and rude, offering no solution other than come back with item and pay more money. Complete lack of customer service and ruined item. Do not go here.

Such wonderful, helpful people: I came from outside Dover by bus for an alteration of my dress. Wishing to save another return bus journey, I asked whether they could finish the job within two or three hours during which I would wait at a cafe nearby. They kindly obliged, and I picked it up just an hour after. The alteration looked great. When I arrived home and tried it on, I was happy to find that it was more than great - the alteration was perfect!This was my second visit to the shop: a few months ago I took my husband’s corduroy jacket there to have one of the underarms fixed. Same as this time, the job was done to perfection. The tailor here is simply amazing, I couldn’t recommend enough!

Collected item only to find repair not done, took item back for repair to be completed with an agreed collection date. When I returned on that date the owner disappeared and left me waiting. After finding him it transpired the repair still wasn’t done. He insisted I wait and offered no apology. I didn’t have the time to wait so requested my item back and a refund. So, two 26 mile round trips wasted and had to battle for a refund. Never have I come across such unprofessional service

Had a number of items altered and the work was done well. I took a fantastic fully tailored wool suit in for dry cleaning and hung it in my wardrobe afterwards without checking it (silly of me). I came to use it a few months later and it was all wrinkled on the jacket. I took it to another tailor who said it had been dry cleaned at the wrong temperature and it had caused the backing to delaminate from the material. There was no cost effective way of repairing the damage. Because of the length of time between the drycleaning and me noticing, I had thrown the ticket away but I'm really fraustrated as to get another tailored suit would be upwards of £1,500 minimum.
