This is my neighborhood pet shop and also my favorite. It's small but it's done right compared to other small shops. The staff are smart, care about your animals, and are always busy maintaining the store. One of the few places where a local markup" is worth it. And sometimes they have clearance sales that make up for it. I've noticed this at other locations too. I go mostly for cat food and fish supplies. Quality over quantity is a factor here. The fish are healthy and treated with love. If best west went out of business.. I'd probably cry like I did with Robins donuts lol"

We always buy our pet supplies at best west on st James street. I Was down on main st so figured I'd stop in that one. The girl that was working was friendly and knowledgeable she helped me fined the right food for very sick cat. Its was right around closing also but not once did she rush me. I'd definitely go back if I was down that area.

Not very Happy . Went into the store to day to purchase our fog food. We usually get 2 large bags Went in today asked for what we always.purchasedto be told by the employee that they never carried it my Husband had to look as she did not even try. When he said he had found it st the bottom of the pile she did not come and help us at all. Then he had to look turn the other kind we wanted to purchase as well and once again no help. We 2 seniors had to carry the 2 bags to the front after spending 169.00 dollars and telling her he is not supposed to lift anything ad he had broken ribs due to a surgery he had and they are not healed yet. She carried the bags to the car. Not a.pleasant experience.

Good. I can't remember the girls name on Main St but she was awesome. She had walked us right through the store. Great for service and she even helped us size a muzzle for my dog and helped me to figure out what kind of cat food my cats would like . Anything I bought my cats didn't like. she said her cat was picky too...she picked out a bag she has her cat on and so there it was. And yay. My cats love it. Till this day I will use the scans in door cat food. The pictures of the cat food and muzzle. It fit perfect. They have service and everything accept co 2 supplentmented cartridges for planted Aquariums. Not very many shops hold those i guess. Best wedt pet foods has everything for your cats and dogs and other pets aws well. I buy my pets everything from this store. Check it out and leave a comment... Ty

Great place but update your hours online. Says 5:30 pm Sunday’s online., get there and you’re closed. Sign says you’re closed at 5 pm in July…
