Never go to this place. I recommend the one off souvenir and 100th. They blame you for not telling them when to stop cutting.

This salon gets 0 stars from me. My suggestion is to never go there if you don't speak French, because they will be rude, belittle you, and blame YOU for their poor communication skills. They will quote you prices and change them on you afterwards. Eva gave me the worst haircut I've ever gotten in my life. Complete ripoff.

Visited Smart Style the Walmart #3165 on Jean Talon West. One hairdresser was busy & not free but offered the services of another . She did not bother offering information that the woman had just graduated from hairdressing school and was doing a Stage at this store. It took over an hour and a half for a simple blower (not including hair wash which took another 15 minutes) that should have taken no longer than 30 minutes. Never mind the lack of communication every time we told her something she would do the complete opposite!!Manager came in and told us thie girl was being supervised , but as far as I could tell there was absolutely ZERO supervision. The Manager was busy reading her magazine and the other hair stylis was busy with a client. Had FULL DISCLOSURE been revealed i would have had the choice of accepting or just leaving. Shame on You!!Manager did not charge but believe me I will never ever go again!!

Terrible service. The stylist Cut too much off my hair and did not even layer it like I asked and she charged me for shampoo and conditioner which she did not do. After contacting customer service they took all the info and stopped contacting me. I would not recommend going there for a haircut that isn't simple

Went in to get layers, lady chopped off my entire hair into shoulder length. No layers whatsoever. Blunt cut. Asked for blonde and ended up with an ugly brown. Had to wait 45 min just for the dye. Ended up being there for 5 hours for no reason. Killed my hair and damaged it beyond repair. Never going back, could give 0 stars if i could.

I am not sure why there is only one negative review in here! I don't know who the hairdresser is or what was her name, but I was much more than satisfied with the job she did! I took my mom to have a haircut there, and I didn't have high hopes as my mom has very thick hair and it's so hard to be managed, and rare are the hairdressers who know how to handle her hair, but this lady gave her the best cut ever, my mom and I were so happy with how the cut turn out, it was the best she ever had. I want to go to cut my hair today and I will update with another review if I will be satisfied or not as my hair is so different than my mom and is so thin and long, so I'll see, I hope it will turn out to be good.OK, and now an update of my review, yesterday, unfortunately, I got the worst cut ever and the worst service ever! My cut is so ridiculous, I came home and stayed all night trying to undo some of the damage, trying to cut it in better layers and I have no clue how to cut hair but still I did a better job that the so called hairdresser who cut my hair! I can't believe this woman is a hairdresser! I made it clear that I wasn't happy with what she did! It was so frustrating, she does not even know how to cut hair! She asked me if I wanted layers and I made the mistake of telling her yes! Big mistake cause she has no clue how to do layers! She chopped off my hair in the weirdest way possible, I got so angry, I specifically told her not to cut my bangs and she cut it the shortest she could cut and I was boiling inside! Now I can't do anything with these ugly bangs she gave me, I have to wait months and months until it grows back! I mean seriously?!!!! Plus, at the end when I was frustrated to the max, she asked me if I wanted her to dry my hair, and I said, yes of course, so she started drying my hair and she stopped when it was so obviously not dry yet! And I was like: Hello, it is still so completely wet! So she dried it some more and she stopped, then she went and started sweeping the floor while my hair was still completely wet! I was so angry at her! I took the hairdryer and I dried my hair myself! Wow, the worst hairdresser experience ever!So I guess it depends on which hairdresser you get!
