Canadian Tire

I travel to this location because it's by far the best Canadian tire I have ever been to. They always have what I need in stock when closer stores don't.

I had a CV axle replaced here on May 20th. I'm very pleased with the service advisor's professionalism, knowledge and politeness. She knows her stuff and is an asset to their service department. And the cherry on top; I was charged a very fair price!

I went into the Georgetown store tonight around 7 to look for paint for my front door, and upon entering the paint department I was greeted by a very nice young gentleman, student I do believe so (grade 10) I was so impressed with his knowledge/ manors, and just overall customer service. This kid deserves some high five rewards for sure!! I feel bad, wish I would of remembered his name!

they don't deserve even one star but I can't give them less then one star. Poor vehical inspection report (automobile service). I have informed the higher authorities several times But all in vain. I think they don't care about the feedbacks

EDIT : I had some issues with a couple of balloons for my daughter's birthday recently. Scott the store manager was very helpful and friendly. His customer service alone is a 5 star. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because of the initial goof up.

So helpful! Needed to get one tire to replace a tire that was damaged, but the original tire is discontinued. Instead of just selling any tire, the employee in the auto department compared different tires and different price points to find the best tire for us!They were so helpful and we were very appreciative of the time they took to help us!

This feedback is for Curtis in the sports section. We are first time skating parents, and had no knowledge on where to start to get skates and other gear for our son. Curtis, took the time to guide us in what’s best for our son, we tried multiple pairs and he showed nothing but patience. By far the best customer service we have ever received from a Canadian tire staff. Georgetown Canadian tires has become our go to store even though it’s about a 50 min drive from our home. Kudos Curtis! Keep up the good work.

Waste of Time. This is a review of the Automotive Service Department, not the store.I made an appointment on a Wednesday for a following Saturday 10am car service. I received a Canadian Tire reminder everyday up until Saturday. I brought my vehicle in on Saturday morning 1/2 hour early at 9:30am. They said they would contact me once an evaluation was done (even though I told them exactly what it needed). 2-1/2 hours later at noon i had not heard from them. I got a ride back to the store and my vehicle had not been touched. I got my keys back and left. No urgency, no apologies.Why make an appointment if they don't honor it? Had I left it I would have waited at least 8 hours to do what I was quoted as a 1 hour job.If you value your time then I would suggest not coming here for service.

Had my husband's car serviced and 2 days later had to have it towed back for the same issue. Asked the manager Rick to call me to let me know if the tow charges would be reversed. Waited nearly 2 weeks and no return call from Rick so I called in to ask about it.Rick was extremely rude and spoke down to me; I cannot recall the last time someone spoke to me in such a way. He accused me of rewriting history however Rick is not the person we spoke to when we originally called and had the starter priced (which we believed was the cause since the car wouldn't start) nor was he the person who called us back the first time the car was in that told us the car started the first four times but failed on the 5th so they diagnosed battery not starter. They kept my husband's car 5 days waiting for the starter to fail again, even though it did the first time it was in. To get the car back on the road we had to pay for a battery and install (the store has stated that they are confident that the battery was bad too, not just the starter. Though we had had no battery issues prior we have to take their word for it), a tow, and a new starter with install.Though Rick was privy to the last few conversations he was not involved in the first few so it took some gall to make the accusations that he did. Regardless, there is no reason for me to ever be spoken to in the manner that I was. For that reasonI called and left a voicemail message with Scott, the customer service manager of the store, and 2 weeks later, still no return call from him.Very disappointed and quite put off by the whole experience at the Georgetown location as a result.

We ran into some car problems on our trip to Georgetown last weekend, which was long weekend. I recieved great service and help at the Canadian Tire in Georgetown. We came from Ottawa in a full Ford Expedition and right outside Georgetown it started misfiring and engine light came on. We made it to Canadian Tire and went to see Morgan the next morning. Even though it was a long weekend with already a full docket Morgan understoof the stress of potentially being stuck in Toronto and said she would do what she could to get the car handled. Saturday was full but she said it would be seen Sunday morning. We had a full weekend as we came for a big family event and Morgan was great, she gave me updates by phone and then even by text to accomodate our busy weekend. She got a great tech Mario to go over everything and explain everything to us as well. Even though it was a long weekend and you couldnt get Ford parts, Mario did what he could to ensure we can get vack to Ottawa with no issues which we did. Morgan was super amazing throughout the whole thing, greatly reducing stress all around. I meant to send this earlier, but I am really grateful for their help, effort and professionalism. An amazing team.
