Westmount Place

The building itself is nice but with the condo fees ranging anywhere from 1200-1500.00 makes it near impossible to sell your unit or even live there if you have a mortgage. The condo fees have doubled in 6 years. They need to bring the condo fees down to a acceptable rate. There is commercial side to this building that should be offsetting some of the cost. In my opinion it is not ran well if the condo fees have to be that high and I own a unit

Terrible place. No heads up about parking spots (basically do what you will with your car for 2 weeks), swimming pool was closed for the whole year, workout gear is worse than imaginable and all broken, and SYSTEMATICALLY no water. Once again, a disaster, not a building.

Book store smells nice and the train car looks cool I don't know I just stopped by while I was waiting for a therapy appointment across the street

Parking is not titled... (if you buy here you don't own your parking spot, condo board can take that from you... that totally destroys any value in owning here) Hot tub is not hot (what's the point of having it if it's luke warm?, test for yourself before buying or renting here if that's important to you).... gym renovations weren't good (used equipment), elevators sound downright scary. Was enough to turn me off from buying here. For anyone looking to buy in here you can get 100-180k off a 2 bedroom listing price and at least 30-50k off a 1 bedroom.... I know as I was going to put an offer in for a place and realtor said it would of been accepted

I have been living in the Westmount Place condo for over a year now, and I am extremely disappointed with the condo board's management of the building.Firstly, the renovation of the parking lot is announced and we are asked to move the cars out without any supplementary spots, which is a major inconvenience. We will have to pay for parking elsewhere and it's simply uncomfortable. Furthermore, the pool has been closed for all the time we live here, and the gym's treadmill has been broken forever as well. This has been especially frustrating for me, as I relied on these amenities for my regular workout routine.Additionally, the condo board has been unresponsive to resident complaints and slow to address any issues. I have emailed the board multiple times with my concerns, and yet I have had no response or just we are working on it".Overall

I'm sorry to say, but my experience living here has been quite frustrating. The only things that are large in this building are the apartments and condo fees, but don't let that deceive you.The pool has been closed for so long that it's starting to look like a permanent fixture. It's a real shame because nothing is more refreshing than a good swim. But if you're looking to take a dip, you're out of luck.If you're looking to get your sweat on in the gym, think again. The treadmill has been broken for so long, it's starting to collect dust.Now, to top it all off, they're renovating the parking lot. But instead of providing temporary parking for residents, they expect us to park on the moon or something. Not only do I have to find parking for an undetermined amount of time but I have to find where to store my tires and other stuff.In conclusion, don't waste your time with this building. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

Some of the units in Westmount Place have some incredible upgrades. Very low cost per square foot in comparable with newer buildings. You are going to find fairly large accommodation here for the most part and there are some sizable terraces. Full concierge service around the clock. I have a fondness for the building and look forward to them completing their upgrades. There are many long term unit holders here and it is one of the friendliest buildings around.

For over a year, I have been enduring the insufferable conditions of the Westmount Place condo. To say that the property management is lacking would be a gross understatement. As if inconveniencing the residents with a parking lot renovation and providing no alternative parking spots was not enough, the pool has been closed indefinitely, and the gym's treadmill has been out of commission for what seems like an eternity. It is an absolute embarrassment.Adding insult to injury, when attempting to voice my concerns, the condo board has shown complete disregard for resident complaints, offering only vague and meaningless promises of action. I have never encountered a more unresponsive and inept team of individuals in my life.In light of the abysmal state of affairs at Westmount Place condo, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this living situation to anyone.
