Came in with our dog in an emergency situation and they turned us away, would not even assess the dog. Had to drive 25min into emergency hospital. Worst care from a vet i have ever received. I highly recommend any animal lover to stay away from vet. So sad it’s our home town veterinary. Honestly sickening to see how un empathetic a Clinic could possibly be.

After a bad experience at another veterinary’s, it was such a load off my shoulders finding this clinic.Made myself comfortable and tried with my fur baby( unfortunately his not really lovely to males, but did try, and respected his space )Talked me through the right path of great protection for my fur baby.. as his very active in the summer months with my family.I walked away feeling great and knowing that my little man is protected. Prices super reasonable!!Environment of clinic was clean, upbeat and welcoming :)

I can’t say enough good things about the whole staff at Antler Hill. They all go above and beyond for anyone that comes to them. When our girl got sick last year they took us step by step from cheapest procedure to most expensive and also gave us the full information about whether or not our 12 yr old girl should be going through some of the procedures. By them being so thorough about everything we made the tough decision to put her down so her suffering wasn’t prolonged. We miss her terribly but we both have no regrets about making the hard decision and letting her live the best life she could have. I will be forever grateful for the caring and compassion they have for our family.

This October it was clear that I needed to put my almost 17 year old dog down. Antler Hill helped myself and my family make this hard time, a little easier. I met with the Vet a few days prior to the appointment to go over procedure and had all my questions answered. When my children and I arrived two days later for the appt, the room was set up nicely with a snuggly blanket for my pet and tissues and things for us. Anything we needed, they got for us and gave us as much time as we needed with him afterwards. Staff was supportive and cared for us. Thank you Antler Hill. You made this transition for our family a little bit easier. Grateful!!

A little story: When I first got my dog (Booker) he had medium size scratches on his ears. As he got older it started getting worse. I lived in Calgary at the time and I went to multiple vet clinics and they looked at him and all said I don't know what this is" spewed off some medical terms that didn't mean anything to me and prescribed some topical steroid. I tried it but it did not seem to work it was just a temporary fix. I assumed that this was just how it was going to be so when I moved to red deer area I took Booker to see Dr. Scheck and he scraped a tiny sample from his ear and examined it to see what it actually was and prescribed medication as well as a topical ointment and it cleared up right away and it never came back. My dog will always have scars on his ears but the infection disappeared. It is the extra step that he took that I appreciate the most! Today

Good vet. Dr.R was extremely knowledgeable while he gave the puppy shots then gave many tips on a variety of things on rasing a dog , things to be cautious and watch out for as well as general suggestions. Never pushed to buy his products at the clinic, but instead gave reasons why you should consider his and some cheaper options that would work very well too. Would highly suggest. Seems like he really cares and enjoys what he does

We cannot say enough about this wonderful clinic! We moved to Penhold a year and a half ago and we’ve been frequent flyers at their clinic given that we have a blind Great Dane rescue, Moose, had a Great Dane dying of cancer, Cupid, on pain meds and now a Golden Retriever puppy, Sage. They take the time to get to know your animal and you as clients of theirs. They were so helpful and accommodating when our dogs needed medication and I couldn’t drive and my husband couldn’t make it before they closed. They dropped off the meds at our house in town so that Cupid didn’t have to be in pain without her medication. We have dealt with both Dr. Michael & Dr. Andrew and pretty well all of the staff there now and they’ve all been so kind, caring and helpful. Dr. Andrew and Robyn were there when we had to make the difficult call to put Cupid down and they made the incredibly difficult process just a little bit easier. We can’t thank them enough. We will use this vet for many years to come!

Great veterinary services! Highly recommended. I was with a vet before that just shrugged everything off until it was to late. But within one week. Antler Hill gave me hope in the veterinary system again.
