Great Canadian Dollar Store

Says closed at 530 but doors were locked before that.

If I could rate this store and their atrocious customer service any lower I would. They had loose balloons displayed low that my 3 year old took two and started blowing them up. I was happy to pay for the ones he took however suggested to the cashier that they would be better placed at a higher level as this is like an invitation for small children to take one. She then rudely commented that I should take better care of my kids!!! The manager had zero managerial skills and was completely overwhelmed by the situation and did not know how to handle it correctly. Bottom line, the worst and rudest customer service I have ever experienced. Stay away from this store!

Being a regular of 3 years, im sad that i wont shop here anymore. I tried to return something i bought 1 day ago. I had asked for a reciept and was given the non itemized reciept. I thought it was a little weird. I shouldve said something then. The next day I went to return it (unopened, no problems) and was treated suspiciously and they said there was nothing they could do for me unless I had the correct receipt. Not just the reciept i had, they wanted both. I explained this was the only receipt i was given. They did not honour it or explain that he was training. Terrible experience. I'm honestly very upset about this. This was my little local dollar store. Never again

Apparently changing songs on your media player is grounds for being accused of stealing, despite having been a regular customer for over a year.Manager accused me without evidence and demanded I empty my pockets.Suffice to say, I'll be doing my shopping at a different company.

The prices have gone way up recently, just because you round the price up to a ‘dollar’ doesn’t count as a dollar store! I doubt I’ll go back.

Really awful customer service. Came in to buy a couple items, but debit machine wasn't working. Ended up leaving without the things I needed only to check my bank account and see they had indeed taken my money. Took *more* time off work to go in and resolve it only to be told they wouldn't give me free money" despite showing them my bank statement which clearly shows they had actually taken from me. Told I would have to return a third time to talk to someone else. No apology for the inconvenience or theft at any time from anyone."

A good place to get gift wrap and cards and other supplies for kids birthday parties.

A good selection for the size of the store; very small with an odd layout. The staff were great and the store was nice and clean.

Lots of balloons and party decorations. Decent selection of other stuff. You may be asked to take off any large bags before going into the main part of the store.
