Flowers and More

Wow, just been in and the shopkeeper is a right knob. Deliberately rude.Also, no flowers in this half-empty shop despite the very suggestive name. Should be called No Flowers and Not Much More.

I’ve been in this shop a few times over the years. The owner was generally a bit grumpy and offers no help. He just watches television and answers “No” if you ask for something he doesn’t have, points in a direction if it’s something he does have.Tonight, however, he reached a new low. I walked in to see if they had a British treat my wife enjoys and he starts going after a woman in her 60s. She picked up a box and put it down, slightly askew. He immediately came over and chastised her, saying she made a mess and must straighten up the box. When she expressed her shock, he told her she had to leave the shop. I told him how rude he was and he told me to leave too.I’m not sure what this guy’s problem is but he treats customers like trash. I highly recommend avoiding his sky-high-priced goods and search for some other British import shop.

I cannot speak for some other reviews here but a purchase today went very well. The online site worked well, the products were ready and wrapped the next morning for in-store pickup, the person at the desk was helpful and polite, and the jams and candies were fresh (2024). Quite a good and fun array of British products in the store.

BEWARE!!! Don’t shop here, overpriced and the owner is beyond rude. When I went to pay, the owner said “i want cash”. I asked him why and that there’s no sign. He became very belligerent and said “I’m telling you now” and that “I don’t have to shop here”. He’s right, I’ll gladly drive to the other wonderful British stores in Mississauga, Oakville, Ajax and Whitby instead of ever stepping foot in this store again. Read the 1 star reviews they are all accurate.

Given that I know how hard and how pricey it can be to import good from the UK, Their prices are so reasonable and I can always count on Nick to have my favs in stock! Love shopping here for all my British goodies. Nick is lovely, he’s very responsive and takes great care of my order each time. Will continue to support this business

Over priced and be careful of expired items. I came back to ask for an exchange for an expired item and he said “there’s still 7 days left” but ended up giving me the refund..One of the items was open as well.

This man is evidently the Basil Faulty of retail. I have tried on-and -off to order some food as a gift to be delivered and have repeatedly phoned the store and left messages. No reply ...ever. As I read the comments of those customers reckless enough to enter the store I should count myself lucky at not having actually met him.Basil!...Basil!

This store is truly a delight and a wonderful reminder of all the good treats that UK has to offer. Looking for Mr.Kipling famous Bramley apple pies I found this store. Checking through their website not only notice the goodies but the drinks/ Crisps & cereal variety in store. I called to double check to see if the item I was looking for was in store and luck was on my side. Going into the store made me feel like a kid in a candy store! I’ve found my childhood haven! Beautiful set up, super easy to find what you’re looking for. Excellent + warm customer service to top it off! Normally I go to location to treat myself but this time I had to make a few calls to pick up something’s for my family to enjoy! Super grateful for this place and will most definitely recommend this spot to as many people as possible. 10 out of 10!! Apologies on the blurriness clearly was to excited to share this gem!

I don't understand this place at all. They import all of these great British products, but they seem not to want to sell them. As a customer, you feel like an intruder. The guy at the cash is just about the rudest salesperson I've met in this city, and that's saying a lot.

Cash only !No returns or refunds . ALL sales final . No exceptions the sign says.That's fine I didn't want to pay $14 for a box of cereal anyways. .Owner seems very disconnected from his customers and uninterested .Don't expect a warm welcome he's more interested in watching his shows streaming online.Perhaps I caught him on a bad day.
