No bag policy. I don't care about whatever theft issues you have, its not my problem, but I am not leaving my expensive work and school electronics, and imortant research notes at the front, especially when you don't even have a cashier actively watching the area I was expected to leave my bag (she was off crushing some boxes in a corner). Also, if you have a theft problem, why am I suppose to take a personal risk of losing my things, as a customer, for the sake of Canadian Tire? You can treat everyone like a potential thief, go ahead. And I'll go buy the 16 gauge wire and toliet level that I needed from Amazon.Edit: Got one of my needs (toliet lever), across the street at Walmart without being presumed a potential criminal for having a back pack.

Pretty good, but the auto centre doesn't give the best time estimates. I have been here a few times and find that they normally take at least 30mins longer than they say, which is fine, but I stopped going to them after my last experience. I was told it would be 1hour, so I decided to wait, then they said 3 hours, which was annoying but fine. So I decided to just wait it out since I had already been waiting for almost 2 hours, but once we hit the 3 hour mark they said they would have to keep it for a few days. I get that stuff happens and my car is not in the best shape, but If I had known it was going to be more than 2 hours from the start I would have arranged a ride home, instead of having to wait another 30mins (on top of the 3 hours) for a bus. I'm sure its not normally that bad but it was very frustrating at the time.

Last weekend. I brought my truck in to change the tires. While they were changing my tires they broke my rim. They were suppose to call me the next day they were open. Instead I had to call them and they never got back to me. I finally reached the automotive section. He told me he was purchasing a USED RIM for the rim they broke. They didn’t go through Brian cullens where I bought the truck. They decided to go somewhere else for a used rim. When I told him I should be getting a new rim for my truck not a used one. His response was “ well I can get a used one if I want” this is unacceptable and I shouldn’t get a used rim I should get a new one.

CTCThey have Bank Status. At this location the employees are personally interconnected, via- communication devices, they can check-stock- and can employ Google to assist in the proper product for almost all your needs, except lumber.New, younger employees seem to be well trained, likely they were shown the ropes by seasoned work mate.

My favorite Canadian Tire. I drive out of my way to come to this specific store. The automotive staff in particular is great and take time to know me. Glad to see them doing some updates.

I am writing a follow up message here to help create awareness. It is important that people are respected and treated equally. Hope this brings about a positive change to store 'policies' that treat people poorly. I had a very unpleasant experience at this store given my gender. Kindly read my previous review dated 26th April. This was concerning me as a male carrying my personal bag in the store. This was followed by an unacceptable attitude and demeaning behavior of some of the store staff towards me. The need for respecting everyone is paramount if we need to succeed as a community.I have outlined my concerns to the head office, as well as the Human Rights Tribunal and the Mayor's office. I am hoping that we as a community can embrace fairness, equality and inclusiveness.Thank you for reading this review... sincerely .. DareylI was at the store today for a scheduled tire change and used that entrance for the service. The service manager Richard, was kind courteous and prompt. His staff guys like Devon and Chirag were competent. While I was having my car serviced, I inquired about a product and Richard was very helpful in directing me to the same. He advised that I can pay for it with the total sum after the car service. As I was perusing for another product two other employees directed me to the correct aisle. As I was in the midst of communicating with these men, another staff came to me and demanded that I leave my knapsack at the front. I was taken aback and totally flabbergasted. I asked her what was the reason and she responded that it was store policy. I asked is it common for all clients and she said yes. I noted at that moment a woman carrying her huge shopping bag and I pointed this out to her. I explained to her that i was getting my car serviced and I was told by Richard tat i can pay at the end of service. She told me that they close the Till at the service counter. I asked to speak to a manager. This person was quite obnoxious. He proceeded to tell me that that it is legislation ". I asked to see the appropriate legislation piece as to what he was referring and to that he responded it is on google. I questioned why it was ok for certain folks to keep their bags on their person while they are mandating others and what is the basis of this discrimination. He could not come up with an answer. I said I was willing would comply as long as it was standard procedure that applies universally to all customers. He said my bag will be subjected to check and i said that was his prerogative as long as it applies to all. I am a health care professional who happen to be a middle aged coloured male. I refuse to take this kind of demeaning discrimination. I strongly suggest that we stand up together as a community against sexism and racism. Please join me in boycotting this store. It is a shame to have this kind of behaviour propagate. I understand that they have a policy against theft

A pretty good-sized Canadian Tire with good options. The Canadian Tire is definitely better than your average Canadian Tire, but could use some expansion in the dog section. The one in Niagara Falls definitely beats it but this one is just way more convenient for us. It's nice to have a dog friendly place that I can walk the dog while also getting stuff for the house or the car. That makes this location that much better and the fact that they have a gas station and a convenient sausage if you're hungry out front with the stand.

Whether you're looking for automotive supplies, home essentials, outdoor gear, or even sporting goods, Canadian Tire has it all. The quality of their products is excellent, and their prices are competitive. What truly stands out is their exceptional customer service. I am a frequent costumer at Canadian Tire, I always go in for all my automotive needs but lately I’ve been reconsidering even going back. This happened on two separate occasions that I didn’t receive a phone call so I had to call, even after specifying BOTH times that I want a call when my car is ready. My car was done in 30 minutes and yet I never got a call leaving me without a car for over 2 hours. And both times I called they were closing and didn’t bother to check on the cars still in the shop, as a costumer service worker I understand both sides; but when it comes to something as valuable as your car I think there should be more professionalism and communications within the staff. It is part of the job to let the costumer know when their car is ready for pick up. And both times the staff tried to mansplain to me that it’s my job to call them.
