Nothing but great things to say about Midas on 17th Ave SW!! I contacted Moe the general manager in early March regarding a set of wheels for my HD truck. Moe sourced me the last set of this particular wheel in Canada and had them brought in within a week! His price was also $50/wheel cheaper than anywhere else I’d looked. When I went to pick up my wheels, Moe informed me that his shop not only provided basic maintenance and repairs, but that they also specialized in 4x4 and off-road install and repair. His one technician had over 30 years experience in truck and heavy duty work. Fast forward to last week, I’d ordered an idler and pitman arm kit. I wanted to see the work Midas did and had them do the install. Moe booked me in within a few days of calling. I did an early morning drop-off and the kit was installed and a full alignment done by lunch time that same day. The work was perfect and the customer service every time was great. I would highly recommend Midas on 17th Ave SW for work needed on any vehicle. If you need rims or tires, maintenance or part installs, Moe is the man!! Thank you again!

The service we received today was truly impeccable, they absolutely went 100% above and beyond. We were from Saskatoon helping a friend move and needed a wheel alignment, so we took it in and they noticed the back tires were completely ruined. Not only did they call around to find where has the tires they went and picked them up personally, installed them and did the alignment in the same day for us so we could make it back to Saskatoon! I don't think I could speak any more highly of them and this location & their dedication to their customers. 1000000/ 10!! Will absolutely be recommending this to anyone/everyone I know. I had the best experience with Midas. I was in desperate need of an alignment and found out I also needed new back tires, I had only one day ( a Saturday ) to have this done before needing to drive back to Saskatchewan and they where able to squeeze me in to get this done! They stayed late and where so kind and helpful during the whole process. I can’t say enough good things as they not only squeezed me in very last minute but they stayed late to get it done for me and where very upfront, honest and so great to deal with! They gave me a great price and I can’t thank them enough! Especially Minhaj who was so great to deal with on the phone and his coworker who stayed late with him to get this finished!! I appreciated their kindness and all they did for me so much!!

I wrote the below lines yesterday out of frustration after waiting for over 4 hours.However, I must say that I respect the Manager's (Moe) gesture for sincerely apologizing.Moe is a great guy and I realize that he just wants to please everyone but it's difficult to manage when you have appointments more than the capacity to deliver.I will send this question to Management to probably revisit their booking system and it will be to their advantage to not overbook and ensure customers are constantly getting a great experience. It will be too easy to lose customers to another shop if this is not taken care of.Anyways thanks Moe and team for a good job in swapping the tires._______\_________________________________Initial review:I wish Google would allow a zero or even negative rating.This is the worst service ever - truly spoiling the Midas reputation.They booked me for an appointment to swap tires at 2pm but made me wait for 4 hrs. This guy has overbooked and never had the politeness to advise you in advance so that you can make plans.I am never coming back to this place and strongly advise others to do your due diligence before bringing your vehicle here.Absolutely worst customer service ever.

The team at the Midas shop on 17th Avenue went above and beyond when we took our car in today. We were travelling from out of town and developed an issue with our front brake. After trying a couple of the larger shops who told me they couldn’t look at if for a week, the guys at Midas quickly scheduled me an appointment and then quickly fixed the problem. I couldn’t rate my experience with these guys high enough. I have used the Midas shop in my home town and have always been treated great by Midas. I am very pleased to report that the Midas shop on 17th Ave in Calgary actually exceeded my past experiences with Midas and I would recommend them to everyone. Well done.

Midas has always given me amazing service, they do all my routine maintenance and let me know what’s needed and what can wait till later. I had hit a pothole on the weekend and cracked my hubcap so brought it to Midas to have them check for further damage. I did not have an appointment but they were still able to fit me in today. They gave it a good look over and took it for a test drive letting me know there was no further damage other then the cracked hubcap. I really appreciate their honesty and willingness to work with the customer and flexibility to fit you in for more urgent issues.

Thanks Mo Zain for such great service.I was here to charge up my car AC.. but after a full inspection, which first of all, it's awesome that he did and provide me with the report, I discovered that the AC recharge wasn't the problem, plus some other minor things. The AC compressor was broken. Anyway..he called me and explained the situation and how much it would cost. He offered me the option to fix it right away and wasn't pushy at all when I decided to wait on changing my AC compressor as it was way out of my budget at that moment. I was only charged the minimum, 120$, for the time for check up and AC refill, which is highly appreciated. I will definitely come back.

Sometimes, it seems hard to find an honest repair shop. This place is different, they're very honest.I've taken multiple cars here. Not once have I've been upselled or pressured into paying for extra work. I even had one car that they told me was not worth repairing due to its condition.I will always return to them for whatever work I need done. If you're looking for an honest place, look no further. This place is great.
