Beautiful shop with amazingly custom built woodwork!! One of the best bookshops ive seen aesthetically.Smaller collection of books compared to other shops, but the best looking one in the community thus far. Free coffee!

Potentially one of the prettiest book stores I have ever been in, it was a real delight to stroll through. Selection of books was interesting and varied, and I picked up a weird and wonderful kids book I'm super excited about. Would recommend!

I love Agricola Street Books! The people who work here are so kind and friendly, the selection is amazing and the books are all in fantastic condition, and I love looking at the other things they have for sale (pencils, stickers, mugs, etc.). The shop itself is absolutely stunning and is so cozy. I just want to curl up on a chair and read the day away! I love the book buy back weekends and when I made a mistake with the gift card that I received in exchange they were so quick to fix it, even though the error was mine. Thank you to the team for the wonderful space you have created!

The best secondhand bookstore in Halifax! Unlike most secondhand bookstores this shop has books published as recently as one year ago - and lots of them. With their buy-back program they have a constant stream of relevant books on their shelves. They sell books for 40% less than retail price so you are definitely sure to find a deal, especially since the books are in excellent condition. The store itself has been completely renovated and is gorgeous! Definitely go check it out and support a local business!

Agricola street books is my favourite book store in Halifax! Their selection and quality of books beats any other used book store I’ve visited. Besides that, the environment is so calming and beautiful. Their memoir section is incredible! But they also have lots of other books including lots of local authors, young adult, general fiction, poetry and more!
