I have given a negative rating before as there were many problems with the previous management and teachers. After the change in management, the my experience have been great. The new management are very kind and helpful. I hope they keep up the good work.

My son has been attending the school for last 4 years. The school is neat and well maintained. I found CASA program is best in Brampton. Beats going to day care any time. One caveat, like all schools, it depends on the teacher you get. In 1st year of CASA, my son hated going to the school. So we changed his class and he never complained again. Since it was going so well for him, we decided to continue in LE (Grade 1). Bad move. We did not see any progress at all. He is not continuing there anymore. One thing I have noticed is the staff is biased towards children of other staff members or preferred kids. Whether it is event photos, project being displayed, special attention in class, etc. Which means, your child gets pushed down the line.Again, these are my experiences and may differ from yours. Hope it helps.

This school puts on more musical productions than actually educating their kids. They have a huge division between the Montessori and junior side. All students are not equally treated, and attention is given to those who can perform on stage very well. I strongly do not recommend this school!

My family has been part of the Tall Pines community for the past 5 years. From the moment we enrolled our son, we have been so impressed with the quality of education he has received. The teachers and staff have been outstanding, and express genuine care for the children in their classes. The school is recently under new management. In such a short time, we have already witnessed some of the progressive enhancements made to the school. Our family is proud to be part of the Tall Pines community, and would highly recommend this school to any of our family and friends.

Tall Pines School has been a major part of our lives since we became parents. We initially chose them because they are CCMA certified and we were so impressed on our tour with the consistent behaviour we observed across all the preschool classes of the students' engagement, independence and self-regulation skills. The classroom environment is appealing and contains materials that are clean, purposeful and meaningful. We continued our commitment with them into their grade level programs for our 3 children and look forward to the future years here. They carry a high standard for their academic program as well as their athletic and theatrical programs. The staff is friendly and receptive and treat their students and families in a professional and caring manner. We personally love receiving on-going booklets of our children's writing, drawing and photographs. The cursive writing and reading levels in their curriculum really stand out! They have created a new School Council opportunity to connect with the parent community - this is such an effective way to work collaboratively for the best interest of the students. During the Covid pandemic, they have offered virtual author visits and guest speakers that reflect the interests and demographics of the school community. This speaks volumes about how they value representation in the materials, role models and discussions in their program. We feel valued, respected and appreciated by the Tall Pines faculty. They are leaders in education, implement innovative ideas, and we know more great things are to come!

The worst school of all times .New Management is garbage . I have two children going to tall pines school since 2019 . I have had multiple concerns with this school as the teachers can’t even identify a bruise from a vein . They are not ib teachers even though the school boasts about being an ib school . . This school loves to just give everything as homework and wants you to teach everything at home . They don’t want to put any effort teaching in class . My daughter was targeted by a few kids who called her an intruder and bullied her and I was not even informed about the incident and neither was an incident sheet filled out although my daughter was kicked in her leg . Instead of informing the parents , my daughter was told that she is wrong and needs to apologize to other children . . Most of these ib teachers don’t even have their bachelor of education. You are unable to order food from outside for your children but are forced to buy it from their lunch vendor as the chicken nuggets and pizza are specially home cooked from their vendor . If you raise concerns your children will get expelled in the middle of the school year. This school has caused my children to be scared and afraid for the rest of their life . Most of the nice teachers esp from Casa program have left due to mistreatment by management . Management is the biggest bully running this school. It’s better to go to a public school than this school and this is coming from a doctor who went to public school . If you want your child’s sanity stay away from this school. Only thing they know how to teach is how to change uniform every 2 hour . The school management is very greedy all they care about is their two dollars for a fashion day and your child is allowed not to wear the uniform . Simply Pathetic!! They even make you pay for extended care when your children doesnt even need it . Every little thing is extra money to torture the parents .

My husband and I went for orientation and we're not pleased. It was the first Montessori School we visited and we ended up registering with a school outside of Brampton. We were unable to ask questions and the person giving the tour continued to speak over us. Noone at the school acknowledged my son or said hello (he's 2.5 years old). We didn't get a warm vibe after orientation as anytime I left a message with registration voicemail it took 2 to 3 days to get a call back and the lady seemed bothered by my questions. Being treated like that as adults, we weren't leaving our child there. It's a shame because we know others with their children at this school, but didn't get the same positive experience they had.Work on your people skills - registration desk !

My son has been attending this school since 2017. The concepts with which they learn are fantastic & make me wish for a do-over for my own education. The teachers are caring and communicate everything your child is doing learning. All staff are open to regular communication if you want to know more or have questions about any concerns you have. They have done an excellent job during COVID of maintaining a curriculum using Teams and finding virtual websites that can track their progress for math, language and reading. The Administration has tried to be as organized as possible while things have constantly changed during this pandemic. My son looks forward to going to school every day & desires to learn because of the teachers diligence. Focusing on responsibility, independence & the individual translates to helpfulness at home because it is an extension of what he is taught at school. This school is definitely a place to consider if you’re looking for a quality private education.Since a change in ownership the quality of the school is not the same. The teaching is no longer Montessori in the grade school levels and that was not what I wanted. Management is more concerned about expansion than proving my son with a quality education for the tuition I paid. If I wanted a regular private school I could go anywhere. My son stopped wanting to go to school & wasn’t interested in doing his best his last year there. We have since moved out of the area & no longer attend.

Tall Pines School has created a huge impact on my life! This comes after graduating 7 years ago in 2012. The level of commitment, professional and environment was far superior than any public school. The education system and all other fundamental components that came along, such as leadership, team building and most importantly discipline were always a step above. I will never forget my experience here as a student for many years – teachers always willing to provide a helping hand whenever needed and supporting their students at every point in their growth level. Special thanks to Ms. Taylor for believing in myself and always pointing me in the right direction, both socially and education wise.- Yours very truly, Kevin & Arpan Gill
