As soon as we walked in and showed what our concern was with our duvet cover we were met with an immediate defensive blaming attitude. Not by just one lady. But all three. Apparently they do not like anything coming back that is of poor quality. Granted we did bring the duvet cover unwashed because we didn’t want the question to be asked well how did you wash it. Which was exactly what happened. They asked did you wash it. Are we not supposed to? Then manager in back got involved and also just unreasonable, defensive, blaming us, gas lighting us. All because of a poor quality duvet cover. Does it really need to be like this. What happened to being reasonable, or oh “that’s too bad, I’m sorry that happened, what can we do?” Long gone are the days of quality, kind customer service.

I’m sure it’s a satisfactory place to shop if you aren’t a man. I walked in hoping to buy couple sheet sets and duvets for a new king sized bed. I was the only one in the store other than two women who worked there. They were happily chatting and I could not get their attention. While continuing to say excuse me, a woman customer walk in the door and both clerks immediately walked over to great her and offer her attentive service.Needless to say, I just gave up and left to shop.

Really great selection of wool duvets. If you haven’t tried wool, it’s amazing. Totally regulates your temperature. Very helpful staff.

I bought a duvet cover here well over 10 years ago. It was a favourite of mine and my husband’s - far superior to any others we have. It recently ripped and I happened to be in Victoria, so I stopped in here and I was able to get 2 new ones, which they shipped to me in Alberta!! They have great deals. Great selections. I won’t buy anywhere else. Also, attentive, and knowledgeable staff.

Great store. Some lovely ladies assisted us in finding the perfect duvet cover and were very friendly. Love when someone provides just the right amount of assistance and lets you browse without trying to over sell you on anything.

I have debated writing this as I have always loved this store however the owners should know that they have a problem with their staff. My friend and I were in last Sunday afternoon and were interested in two different quilt covers. We stood with one cover in hand and waited and waited for help. I even watched this one small woman rush from place to place while she ignored us and did nothing at any of the places in the store she was rushing to. None of the staff would even make eye contact. Eventually we gave up and left. Please fix this.

Update - Another great experience! I purchased towels online on Sunday. Monday morning I received notification that the towels were on their way and arrived Tuesday morning. They were great quality and good price, exactly what I wanted. Also the shipping fee was less than what my gas would have cost to run down to Victoria to pick up.Previous review - I wanted to order online for curb side pickup but was not sure of the product. I talked with Diane and she was extremely helpful in describing the product, colour and quality. The price was better than other stores with a similar product. I drove to the store, phoned and a lady ran dropped the parcel in my vehicle. Service was exceptional. Thank you!
