Had the signature zanmai parfait. The star of the show would definitely be the matcha ice-cream and the cake. I highly recommend getting only the ice cream and cake

Location is perfect as it is downtown and just a few steps from Guy Concordia metro.The menu is quite varied, including items such as ice cream, cake, latte etc. Their latte is great (not too sweet and offers choice of dairy and plant-based milk) and their ice-cream with matcha cake and red bean paste on top is delicious!The place is quite small (sits around 10 people, with tables quite close to each other) but the vibe and service is so cozy and welcoming that the small size of the place feels like part of its charm.

A cute shop just around the corner with a matcha-based menu of soft-serve ice cream, shaved ice, and teas. There is also a small display of dessert cakes. There are some tables around but it's a small space and may be good for pick up or short sit down. I have tried the zenmai shaved ice and the soft serve and they were both excellent. The soft serve is the perfect texture and not too sweet. The shaved ice had a balance of matcha throughout so the flavour was well dispersed. The staff were very efficient and friendly so we felt welcome even though they were super busy at the time. We would return to explore more menu items.

If you love Matcha, go there! The cheesecake is very good and the ice cream too.The place is beautiful and the atmosphere is really cool. Will return someday!

Matcha ice cream and treats can’t get better than this. Everything tastes really good (matcha cake, jelly, ice cream, etc). Extremely friendly staff.

Matcha Zanmai just became my favourite Matcha dessert place. There is so much to chose from & Florian at the counter, was so helpful & patient in describing all the choices. In this regard, his recommendation to try the chocolate Matcha cake was spot on! It was so good that after eating it there, I went back another time for take-out. I couldn't resist as I happened to pass by.In relation to prices, they are very reasonable & even less than some other Matcha places I've been to.This Japanese Matcha bar doesn't have a large seating capacity, but from what I've seen, it seems to be big enough to accommodate their clientele. The atmosphere is both casual & welcoming. It you like Matcha, it's worth a visit!

I've been in Montreal for only week and a half and I've been here 3 times already. The matcha ice-cream is just that good. In my opinion the mix ice-cream is better than full matcha, it has a great balance of flavor. The matcha latte is also good! Just don't expect it to be extra sweet, if you have been drinking matcha for a while it will be great, if not you're better off starting with the mixed ice-cream.

Everyhting was really good, the matcha flavour in drinks and soft serve is to my liking but can appear too strong for some people, the place has a chill vibe but is a but small. The staff's service is very friendly and they make the food at a very fast speed too! 10/10 would recommend, I went there sooooo many times lol!

For the matcha lovers, this is a very good spot. Every single item in the menu (except vanilla ice cream) has matcha in it. The flavour profile is very strong and has that classic matcha finish. Bitter and strong, their match ice cream hits the spot!

Personally I didn't like the matcha cheesecake but II would recommend the tiramisu crepe cake. The matcha latte was fine. Please get the ice cream is the best'
