My experience with Marshall Homes has been a positive and exciting process. I am a new resident of the Centre Point homes and couldn't be happier with my unit. Overall the quality of finishes and the high level of craftsmanship that went into my unit far exceeded my expectations. I experienced very few issues but they were promptly and professionally rectified beyond my satisfaction. My unit immediately felt like a home instead of a cold new space. I attribute this to the attention to detail and forethought that clearly went Into this construction.

I am part of the Sales Team for Marshall Homes and am replying to Mr. Tadrous's negative review. This was the first release of homes where we used the online booking system due to the Covid 19 rules. Normally our purchasers start lining up the day before an opening and everyone knows who was first and so on. We typically sell out very quickly and this was no exception. The reservation online system was overwhelmed by volume and many got dropped as a result. On August 3rd, five days prior to your appointment, I emailed you asking for your cel or home phone number so I could discuss an enhanced appointment time due to the system crash. You had only supplied your work number which was not being answered. Without contact there was nothing I could do to help you get a VIP spot, which I was prepared to do for you as we had corresponded on previous projects. Great builder and high quality homes

I had registered for the builder Next 37 detached project in Pickering and they asked by email to book a sales office appointment once we receive an email on Friday July 31st at 3:00 pm. I was waiting and monitoring my emails since 2:55 pm and once I received the email, I booked quickly the third (3) available time slot in sequence . I went to the sales office on time and they asked me to wait for 20 min and once I get in, I found that all the lots were sold with the exception of only one lot backing by to Canada Transit rail line and one with non-regular lot. While I was waiting, one of the buyers came with no appointment and ask if he can get in, they asked him to wait for 15-20 min and they let him get in front of others who booked appointments. How can I trust a builder that does not respect its client's time and its appointments? I am sure many bad experience will come for those who bought from it.From their sales people words, they are a small builder and they deliver homes with no appliances. They deliver a common standard finishes for 1.2-1.3 M houses and I consider them a very expansive builder in comparison to other well known builders in the same area. Stay away if you can and safe your time and money .... I am very disappointed from its quality of service.

From start to the finish this builder and his team were there every step of the way. With such a massive development with so many moving parts it meant a lot to me that they treated me as an individual and not just a number - which I think is the number 1 attribute when making the biggest purchase in one's life. I plan on buying from Marshall Homes anytime they are available and correlate with any time I want to move, thank you team!

Whatever you do, do not sign a purchase agreement with this builder under any circumstances. Its a complete circus they operate.1) Their closing dates on the purchase agreement mean nothing. There is strong evidence that they set the earliest closing dates knowing full and well that they will not likely meet the closing date and keep pushing for years while the customer cruises short term rental unit and rental unit with a small child. I begged them to at the minimum just give us the more realistic closing date as we had a small child and the employee just laughed us off saying babies don't know any better and not to worry.2)The home is poorly built. When I say poorly I mean issues ranging from cosmetic to significant Ontario Building Code violations. HVAC vents being tiled over, leaks through windows, AC breaking down not once but twice (and being told 37 degrees is not that bad and to open a window).3) Their customer service amounts to ignored e-mails and voice mails and only after threatening to go to Tarion do they show up at your door.4) Lies, lies and more lies. I've caught their service representatives in multiple lies and point blank confronted them about it and they have no shame that they just lie more or blame the trades. They seem to hire only friends and family who take a very laid back approach to their jobs and have no sense of urgency.5) The worse part about the entire Marshall Home experience is that they need cash flow to fund their next shoddy development venture so they force customers who they have already delayed for 2 years to close on incomplete units. How is it after 2 years of delays you still can't deliver a unit with washroom doors, mirrors, patio, paint, towel holders, light fixture and yes even missing a smoke detector in my child's nursery. Marshall Homes seems to have a bad habit of biting off more than they can chew.Several other purchasers are in the same boat as us and we've discussed going to the media and consulting a lawyer. In summary, stay away from Marshall Homes. The small town builder that likes to act like a big city luxury builder but in reality amounts to a no name company with no real skill set or personality in anything they do.Craig Marshall, you should be ashamed of yourself.
