Dr. Haughton is simply amazing!It has been almost a year since I and my husband started to receive his care and my neck & back pain is mostly gone. Somehow he feels where your pain is and he fixes it. We feel happy and relaxed every time we visit his office. The most important thing is that he really cares about his patients. For our Asia trip, he searched for local doctors in case we have pain over there. We were impressed with his willingness to help us!Sarah is also wonderful. She is energetic, helpful, and always cheerful! Overall, we highly recommend this place!

In 2018, Dr. Haughton was referred by a close friend of mine. I was a little confused as to how, a professional specializing in the vertical spine, could help with my right knee pain. I had nothing to lose and was pretty desperate to get my knee fixed. Dr. Haughton offered a round of X-ray, a seminar to explain what his work consists of and helped me understand the importance of the vertical spine positioning and alignment. Everything is connected through the spine. I gave it a shot and the results were amazing.Through a series of adjustments I felt some relief on my knee because I felt like the weight had lifted off. I suddenly felt more balanced in my body, as if both sides of my body (legs, arms and shoulders) were working equally. During this time, I also noticed that my breathing/sinuses were clearing up and that I no longer needed migraine medication for my severe headaches.I eventually stopped going cause I figured I was cured.I recently contracted COVID-19. My symptoms were mild but left me with extreme anxiety and a numbing sensation on the left side of my body which scared me cause I felt I was having a heart attack. I ended up at the hospital and was prescribed anxiety medication.I reached out to Marisol who is Dr. Haughton’s Clinic Manager and Medical Assistant and she got me right in to see him. I wasn’t sure at first if Dr. Haughton would want to continue treatment or have any availability to take on my file once more. When a patient reaches out to a medical professional they stopped seeing, it can be scary to call again and ask for help. There is something to note here about Marisol’s compassion. Marisol is kind and encouraging which only further reassures patients that are desperate for hope and to heal, that help is on the way. My file was still opened and had a credit (which they honoured, even after years of not going).I have been back almost a month now. My anxiety has dissipated. I no longer use the anxiety medication I was prescribed by a doctor at the hospital. The numbing sensation on my left side is gone. The initial interaction was great. My appointment started in time! Dr Haughton talks to his patients in payments terms and is genuinely concerned with his patients well being and physical success. Sarah is a jewel, always so upbeat and personable. Having an amazing front woman" is invaluable. Sarah is ALWAYS on point. The personalized greeting is the best. I feel like family not just another person with a chart."

Dr. Derek Haughton takes a very different approach than other health practitioners;Before he allowed me to join his wellness program, he insisted that I attend a short informative session to ensure that I had the facts and information that I needed before making a commitment. He empowers his clients with true knowledge and awareness of the human body and how it works. He always reminds me that it is my body that is healing itself and that he is simply just there to guide it in the right direction. Very, very, very good chiropractor with a strong passion to help his patients and about the field in general. Kind, knowledgable and gifted. Not only treats, but also educates and motivates how to care about your spine and its importance. Really special doctor with a true calling. The assistant Sarah is nice and super efficient. Great experience all around, but most importantly, in my health outcomes!!! Life-changing.
