Delicious, unforgettable flavors. The hour or so we waited for our food was well worth the wait and this place’s hype is well earned. Small hiccup when the staff got our order wrong but it’s understandable.Easily one of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. You need to get the chowder as well.

Based on me coming back after 9 years and having the best fish&chips on their menu, I can say the atmosphere and service are outstanding, but the food I had was...good...not amazing. Maybe it's personal taste, but the chips (fries) and battered fish were Ok but a bit bland. The coleslaw too and more so. I need more flavour to compliment/enhance the fish! The tartar sauce was great however, but should be at least 50% larger because I run out too soon and was desperately looking to add flavour! The portion is huge, I couldn't finish it, and price is what you would expect from a touristy and famous place in Victoria. I would say you go there for the experience first and the food second, because for the price you could probably get better fish&chips or a better meal of something else. Even so, the overall experience is worth if you're from out of town and it's no wonder there are lineups to order.

Open air take-out style Fish & Chip shop that offers more than just deep fried items. Grilled salmon is moist and flavourful, and the seared tuna is generous in portion size. Fresh local ingredients paired with friendly staff, what's not to love? Meal times are usually busy, but the food is worth the 30 min line up for order (then about 10 min for freshly made food).

I came back today after trying their Albacore Tuna Tacone + Salad. The piece of Tuna inside the tacone was HUGE and cooked perfectly! The salad is one of the best salads I've ever had- the dill ceasar dressing, pickled onions, and roasted pumpkin seeds add so much texture and flavor. I can't wait to come back and try their fish and chips! There was quite a line-up, but the food was well-worth the wait!

We tried their halibut fry and chowder soup. Absolutely delicious. The soup was very filling. The fish was so fresh and crispy. A must try in Victoria downtown area.

Be prepared to wait in line for up to an hour or more but the freshness and quality of the food is unbeatable. The chowder is Asian style with lemongrass, coconut and hot pepper . The tuna taco was the best I ever had with big chunks of medium rare tuna . Halibut fish and chips was huge - 1 piece is plenty for 1 person . It is amazing and worth the wait

By far the best Fish n Chips I've ever had. The wait line was 30+ minutes but well worth the wait. I think my only feedback is to move into another building and hire more staff to help with the high popularity of the food. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Victoria

Very long lineup and wait time. Fish and chips were objectively very crispy and fresh, but so extremely greasy it made me nauseous. It’s also pretty pricey for some very basic fish and chips. Maybe a better meal for a colder day. Overall I felt that this place was way overrated. The harbor location is nice, but again very busy with not enough seating. Would NOT recommend unless you’re a serious fan of basic extremely generic somewhat overpriced fish and chips.

Best fish and chips in Victoria. Lots of fish options. Halibut was fantastic, good flavour and cooked well. Chips are great with the pepper and salt on them. The seafood chowder was nice, never had it made with that sort of spice mix. Lineup was very long and it took quite awhile to move through to order and then awhile to get the order. Lots of tables and stools to eat on. Watch out for seagulls, they will try to snatch your food!
