We decided on a sturgeon charter with Oliver for my wife's birthday. Best decision I've made. Sure, we caught a five-footer ten minutes into the trip, but what really left an impression with me was Oliver and the passion he has for what he does.It starts with his boat, as it should. It's spotless. Between catches, he's making sure there's no mud on the rails or around the rods. Then there's the bait. Fresh, in a cooler, and made-to-order. When Oliver's not busy dropping knowledge or telling stories he's making sure everything is rigged for success.When it's go time, Oliver is ready to step in when he needs to, but mostly he's drawing up the play and coaching from the sidelines. He makes sure you earn your catch. Trust me, it's worth it.You'll get your pictures and you'll have your fun, but keep in mind that Oliver is first and foremost a steward of the sea and a champion of preservation and responsible sportfishing.
