As soon as I walk in the door, I feel welcome and comfortable. I don't love going to the dentist -- who does, but the staff here are courteous, friendly and very professional. Colleen takes great care of my teeth and always makes me laugh. Thanks for having such a great team!

Each staff member I’ve come across has been nothing but friendly and diligent in their work! Since the move from Dr. Groves' previous dental office, the long-term staff provides a sense of familiarity and comfort each time I come in. Colleen is an amazing dental hygienist who goes above and beyond each session. Colleen is considerate of her patient's concerns, pays close attention to detail in her work, and works her hardest to bring about the best results for her patients. Dr. Ricky has continued the legacy of an attentive and caring dentist who demonstrates a strong willingness to help his patients receive optimal treatment. He’s very knowledgeable, clear and comprehensive when communicating with his patients. An amazing dental team on-site and an amazing experience from the front desk to the dental chair!

I have been using Dr. Groves and now Dr. Ricky my entire life! They were and are the best! Colleen is amazing, friendly, great with my kids and I and does a great job! This entire dentist office thanks to the great staff is why I will never go anywhere else!

I recently switched dentist as my old one was not accessible for a stroller. They were absolutely amazing with my 2 year old, and with me. I hate having my teeth cleaned and the whole time the person cleaning my teeth if i was doing okay, when they noticed how sensitive it was, they offered to use a water drill and oh my god is that a game changer if you hate the metal scraping tool. First dentist to offer it. They really listen to your concerns and take care of you and your mouth

As a new patient, I had some concerns that the thorough medical information would “speak for me” before I had a chance to consult with the dentist. I live with treatment resistant depression and (for the last few years) treatable schizophrenia. I take reasonably good care of my teeth now, but didn’t always in the past.I am university educated (I have a Masters), but you would be surprised how many health care professionals treat me as if I am intellectually compromised/potentially violent, even, because of my diagnosis.The dentist permanently resolved a long term issue from a previous dentist that involved my front teeth. I haven’t smiled in years and I used to be told that I had a lovely smile!The dentist quickly fixed my teeth without insulting my intellect, and explained everything he was doing in an easily understandable manner.I was very impressed with his professionalism and by the high standard of care given at this location in particular. Highly recommended!

Went to Horizon Family Dentistry today for the first time- Overall had a great experience. The front desk staff are super friendly! The dentist and dental hygienist took great care of me and informed me of what's going on with my teeth. We ran out of time to finish what needed to be done, but I can't wait to go back later this week to finish it up!

I recently moved to Peterborough & feel very lucky to have been referred to this dentistry. I always thought my previous dental office (for 20+ years) was very good; however, all of the people that I have encountered here so far have been fabulous. Colleen has made me feel like the dentist's office is a good place to go & not just a necessary evil.

Worst experience ever!!!! Gave me a bill 2 years later . Each time I went they said balance was zero . Then gave me pandemic excuse.

Love this dentist… the whole office actually! The girls at the front… both of the dentists (Dr. Steven and Dr. Boris) and even the lovely hygienist are all absolutely wonderful!! They ask lots of questions and are so kind and patient. My girls have always had dentist fears and this office 100% “understood the assignment”! Warm and welcoming, understanding and kind… I would recommend 10/10!
