I like that this rec center is hidden less people to bother you steam room is usually empty wich is nice and peaceful environment to be around would recommend to anyone that likes peacefulness when working out or going to pool

Been going here for over 40 years. Home away from home. Very well maintained facility. Excellent Covid-19 precautions. The swimming pool is clean. There is even a preschool in the building which is Excellent! Walking and jogging trails outside of the facility. Nothing beats the beauty of old growth trees.

Staff here used to be a lot nicer. Now they have inconsistent, staff dependent, rules that change from week to week. Then they lay the blame on you for something that another staff member had advised.

I like to come here on weekends mornings to get a good workout in at the gym here. The gym is usually pretty spacious as there are two separate rooms which is convenient for spacing. One of the fitness rooms consists of a good number of cardio machines and some weight machines like a chest press machine and some leg curl machines, as well as some lighter dumbbells and some kettlebells and rollers and so on, whereas the other one is fitted with two barbell racks, a good variety of different barbells, cable weight machines, a leg press, sone grips to do dips and pullups and an area with heavier dumbbells and a few other miscellaneous tools.The two room organization of the fitness centre means the heavy weight room is usually much less crowded and more spacious which makes it easier to just plug in your headphones and just focus on your own routine without much risk of a disturbance, and it is still rather well equipped to be able to do just about everything your routine calls for.(Though this is not what I come here for) the rec center also features a really nice lane swimming pool and a recreation pool and some other sports, games and training facilities for younger people or people who do not come for the gym where I imagine classes take place.The staff I find here is pretty pleasant and friendly too and is more than happy to hold a nice conversation with you. Pretty good place and worth the distance to get there.

Dated facility but great staple in the community. Pool is good for lane swimming, has fairly good lane swim hours. Lanes seem slightly narrower than a standard lane, but they fit the bill. Good time clocks that are synchronized. I’d give the showers an 8/10 for temperature and flow.

Great pool for family fun and kid's swimming lessons. Great stuff with patients and very professional
