Don’t drop your cash into the self serve receptacle until you confirm the water is on in your stall and that the bathrooms are unlocked. It was a nice enough place and the trains were noisy but easy to ignore. Had there been water and washrooms it would have been a fine spot to hold up for a night.

Good pull throughs and nice and level ground. Unfortunately the number of trains that go through during the night interrupted my sleep a number of times.

Great little place, nice sites. Great showers and washroom all this for only $15 for a tent site. Does have train tracks nearby but every site near the TransCanada highway has train tracks.

Found this little gem while looking for somewhere inexpensive and convenient to pull over for the night. 15$ for tents, 30$ for rvs. We were the only campers the night we stayed. Clean facilities and hot showers! Also non campers can shower for 2$ (it's all on the honors system )

We were tired on our trek and decided to spend the night. Overall we were very pleased (but also didn’t use the washrooms or showers available as we used our camper).Pros:- nice big park- splash pad- washrooms and showers- a few pull through sites- water, sewer and electrical hook up for $20- it was a great place to spend the night and we liked it so much we stayed for another few hours in the morning.Cons:- there are trains - though this was a pro for my son who was amazed at how long the trains were. They did honk, but didn’t keep us up - maybe we were tired.- Cactus - there are many many cactus in the park. I will be letting the town know because it was quite the experience for my daughter whose foot found 3 and many spines.

If you want sleep then do not stay here. The campground is less than 20m away from a railroad crossing and the trains sound their horns every half hour all night long.The facilities are good with showers, toilets and power. It could be ok for a pit stop, so I give it 2 stars for that.

An excellent camping experience in a charming little town! Our 3 boys especially liked the horse tire swing ride in the playground across the way. People were super friendly and proud of their community. We enjoyed every second, and the hot shower was a bonus. I'd gladly pay more.

Trains. Trains. Trains. I would give lower but the town had a nice clean bathroom and shower facility. Beware - stay here and you will get little sleep. Power was flaky and would not run our microwave without going out. AC - forget about it. There is a small train yard here as well as the CP Rail mainline within 50 feet of your camper. If you want a decent sleep, keep moving.
