Stony Plain Lions RV Park & Campground

Very good grounds and services. Tracey is great.We were hoping to stay here next winter, but the wifi is terrible if it shows at all!

(Update to previous post)Lots of improvements to park with several new sites. As before, the park manager is very helpful and great to deal with.The new sites has freed more sites for casual and short term clients.Word of warning tho. While we were here there were a couple of shady things transpire.(Previous post)We have stayed here several times and the park is quite acceptable and manager has always accommodated us as best she could. I do have an observation about RV Parks in general though. Most rv parks, and the Stony Plain Lions rv park is no exception, are becoming Mini home parks" rather than "short term" RV Parks for travelers. Designed spots with at least 30amp power would be nice for maximum 30 night stay. If Municipalities want the traveling public to participate in their economics this is one area where the rules regarding RV Parks could be improved."

This a very nice and quiet place. The owners were very helpful and easy to deal with. Thank you.

I was treated poorly today. You can do better. Try to be kind and give your clients the benefit of the doubt instead of bitting thier head off first thing in the morning. Very disappointed in service by one individual. You know who you are.

As soon as the lady at the front desk found out my staff was four young guys (family guys mind you) she didn’t want them there. Emphasized that nothing would be tolerated and she would kick them out. I told her they don’t drink or do drugs and that they were there to work and it fell on deaf ears. She made sure the bathrooms being cleaned sign was out the whole time they were there so they wouldn’t use her bathroom. We won’t be going back.I would rather camp out at Walmart then give her a dime next time. We even left a day early.We have stayed at many campgrounds while on the job and this is the first one where we were treated like scum. I think she needs a new job.

Tracy, site manager does an AMAZING job at keeping the place CLEAN and overall safe. There are many campers who remain here long term, likely for work but this doesn't take away from the overall site quality. You are more likely to only get 15 amp service but clean sites, good sizes, lots of trees. Including sites that are like row housing. In two summers I've been traveling through Western Canada over a period of 4 months, Tracy wins for most AMAZING bathrooms. I can not emphasize how clean they are!!Very good rate for being close to a big city (Edmonton 30 mins East) but with plenty of amenities in Stony Plain or Spruce Grove. (10 min drive)I wanted to rate this 4.5 stars.Only 3 stars for Noise because you are in a working business section of the community. After dinner it quiets down.

Somewhat quiet and clean enough. Tucked away in an industrial area. The manager was out on errands when we arrived. It was very inconvenient because we needed the code to the washrooms. Access to the free WiFi would've been nice when we arrived and not 20 minutes before we left.Good enough for a night's stay but at $35 a night... I would've been willing to stay elsewhere less sketchy for an extra $15.

Great place Great manger was very well run

Treated very poorly swears and yells at you around kids and makes a scene bitting your head off my stuff was disrespected when cutting the grass covered my patio furniture with grass clippings not very friendly staff they are very rude I would not recommend staying here not unless you want to be treated like garbage

Nice, quiet campground within Stony Plain with plenty of green space. Caretakers are friendly and helpful and keep the campground clean and beautiful. They provide washroom and showers. This campground does not have a laundromat or cable connections and the WiFi does not work but it's still a very nice spot and I will be returning!
