Laura has been my stylist for probably 5 years now! She is the only one I trust with my hair. The entire time I am with her, she makes me feel as though I am her only client. She is funny, sweet and cares deeply about everyone she encounters! I’m almost worried about leaving this review because the more people that start going to her, the harder it will be for me to book an appointment! If you’re looking for a new stylist, you won’t be disappointed.

Laura has been doing my hair for years - I believe since I was in high school. She is so knowledgeable and I always leave so happy with the final product. I trust her judgment and know she will leave me looking my best! It also helps that she is so kind, friendly & welcoming. I love the overall vibe of the studio & am so glad Laura and Marissa opened Gloss Haus Hair Studio!

Marissa is so unbelievably talented. I am not one to trust many with my hair, however Marissa has completely gained my trust and has made feel so much better about my hair, something I’ve been missing for a long time. She has such an eye for colour and how to properly cut, everything she does impresses me. I will highly recommend her to anyone that talks to me about hair, and will always brag about having the best colourist and stylist in Durham.

I have followed Marissa everywhere she’s worked, because she is the only person I trust to touch my hair!! Not only does she give me the most perfect blonde colour everytime, but she is also just plain lovely to hang out & chat with. If you have not gone to see her or Laura yet, you are seriously missing out!

I’ve been seeing Marissa for about 3-4 years now through a family recommendation and I haven’t looked back since! It’s hard to find someone you trust but Marissa makes it easy. I normally get a blond balayage with occasional changes in between seasons and she gets it right every time. Marissa takes the time to learn her clients and perfecting her craft. She’s patient, up front and gives realistic expectations for what’s attainable to achieve with your hair. She knows her s**t. The dedication and passion she has for her work shows every time.The salon gives off great vibes and her co-partner Laura is also awesome! Would recommend them both 1000 times over. Both of them do great work and so proud of them for achieving such success. They give quality work and worth every penny!10/10 recommend

Absolutely love this place!! it was totally by chance I found Marissa and her salon when I was searching for someone to do IBE (invisible bead extensions). From just the consultation, Marissa was so sweet and very knowledgeable about this method. I instantly felt comfortable with her to do my extensions. She explained everything to me and made sure I had no questions. On the day of installation, Marissa was very accommodating and explained everything she was doing. At the end she had a starter kit and shampoo recommendations/samples and a few tools to help manage" all the new hair! The shampoo she recommended was absolutely perfect for my hair issues. I feel like a brand new woman with all my glorious long hair and I have Marissa to thank for that!I would highly recommend Marissa and her salon to anybody!"

Laura is the blonde colouring/highlights QUEEN. I went to see her for the first time for a full head of highlights in August and she did a fantastic job. Lightened my hair beautifully but still looks natural. I’m going back to see her again next week for further highlights and can’t wait. Would recommend 1000%!

So, you know when you're online looking for pictures of your, dream hair". You finally find it and take it to the salon. You show the person doing your hair and they say
