extremely long wait to get in last night, probably because people were thrown off that we had to check coats (could not being them in) and they charged to do so. Kind of ridiculous considering the price of the ticket. So that seemed to hold up the line.Beer selection was brutal and you can't pay with debit (luckily I had cash but others did not).Staff was hit and miss (some friendly, some not so much) the person doing the coat check was really nice and enjoyable, so was the busser.The place itself is pretty neat. dirty, but it seems like it's meant to be dirty. It was a fun time.

Came to see Crystal Method and was kind of worried it would be a sweat pit, but the temperature inside was actually pretty good. Definitely a unique venue, maybe more geared towards traditional performances but it was still a blast. Quick and attentive bar staff managed to handle the bustle of people in a quick and friendly manner.

Barrymores will always hold a special place in my heart. I've had countless nights out where I was left feeling nothing but bliss. The staff always make me feel so special - at one point I was going so frequently that they almost felt like family. I really enjoyed when they would set up LED walls. Although the venue could use some sprucing up, it made the atmosphere feel more authentic to its roots. I'm hoping this venue will be around for years to come.

Classic Barrymores, let me begin by saying this place has been around since my parents we young adults and they had good times then as well. Recently saw a DJ put on a set here and had a great time. Tentative bartenders, good light show, and good drink selection as it should be. The layout is quite unique because it really is designed like a theater or music Hall. Although there a lots of stairs both entering, going to seating, to the dance floor, and washrooms. Stairs everywhere!

Always a great time. First few times managed to catch U2 and many great bands since (showing my age I guess). Has never failed to dissapoint.

Always have a great time. Place is very run down and not as nice as it once was but we always have fun dancing. Sadly they would not discreetly accomodate our friend in a wheelchair (even though there is a back entrance to avoid being carried up stairs in front of everyone). Otherwise its a fun cheap night out.In response to the Owner below..... The problem was not that he had to be carried and that there was stairs.... the problem was that there was no effort made to use an alternative door so that he did not have to feel like a Circus animal being carried up stairs while everyone is watching. We even asked if he could come in a few minutes early to avoid this if no alternative door can be used and this was also denied. There was no snow or rain on this night and I'm sure there would have been no problem to use an alternative entrance. There was no attempt at customer service in this case. It put a damper on a night out as our friend did not feel comfortable coming out with us as a result of this. THAT was the issue.... not the fact that there are stairs.

Great layout. Incorporating a modern environment in a venue with age. What a wonderful mix. Great dance space. Great bottle service. They sure know how to Mix the old with the new. This is my new favorite venue. Check out the VIP area for a superb view and service.

I lowered the stars because they charge $4 for water. When asked for tap water as a designated driver, they asked me to buy a water bottle. The law (and common sense) requires that they provide reasonably priced non alcoholic drinks..Beer $7 .. water $4... how reasonable is that! H2O aside, venue is tightly spaced for dancing , although many stairs and seating option in the gallery area available. Good venue, bad policy.

I love 80s night. Its not every Sunday anymore just holidays and the upstairs is closed off but still an awesome place. And to request songs you go through the bouncer at the stage. I miss the simple old days.....sigh.Every songs video is shown on a big screen!
