Rude and impatient. Rough with my son's hair. We changed our mind and walked out.My son is graduating tomorrow and this put him in an awful mood when this should be an exciting time for him. Barber acted like he had better things to do. Won't be returning, tell your barbers to stop being jerks to kids.

Overpriced and sloppy service. $33 for a regular man haircut, loose hairs behind ears, front were not trimmed cleanly.In response to the owner’s response.Wow what a lame defense! The barber shop is within Richmond Centr and the barber’s name is Stane or Stanley at the end corner inside the shop. I asked for short, high skin and fade - does this sound like any “extra” for a regular adult man haircut? He found out I was an onetime customer that across the border, he hesitated and said $25 dollars, which is about CA$33.I let it go for the overprice but when I got back home and realized the sloppy quality, I felt being double robbed.

I asked for an undercut and a lady working here shaved the entire back of my head. She didn’t get a mirror to look at it and it looked good from the front. It was after I showered that I noticed there was no hair on the entire back of my head. She had left the smallest little spot on the top and combed it over the back. I was very disappointed with the service here and strongly recommend asking for a mirror

terrible experience. they left me without cleaning the hair off my face and ears and when i asked them to clean me up George gave me attitude and refused to do it. He refused to cut my hair to my desired length and raised his voice on me in front of other customers

The barber was aggressive (literally cut so fast that some hairs were being plucked instead of cut) and clearly rushed even though there was NO ONE waiting and there were other barbers standing around watching TV. He never asked any clarifying questions, put zero effort into getting the loose hairs off, and after cutting it too long, showed me the mirror, to which I asked for shorter and he cut a very small amount off, then just took the bib off and never showed me the mirror again to clarify and it was still too long. He then charged the wrong price. I highly highly recommend going anywhere else.*Edit for owner reply - He never introduced himself, just told me to sit and he barely said a word after. He appeared to be in his 50s and had a pungent cigarette smell.

BEST longest standing barber shop in Richmond BY FAR! All the men in my entire family come in for their regular haircuts, and my fiancé. Super clean place, and most of the barbers have been working there for 10+ years! I remember coming in with my brothers as a little girl, was always a fun experience. Staff are friendly and easy to chat with. Haircuts are reasonably priced between $20 for short and $25 for a long haircut. I love supporting long standing family owned and operated businesses, especially this one because I've grown up here.

A great cheap haircut with a nice bunch of guys. They have TV's nicely placed for easy game viewing or you can have a conversation with your barber. Cuts are nothing special but clean, well managed and make you feel good. They will definitely cut to order. They do this weird massage thing on your shoulders after you finish your cut but I just go with it.Accessible parking from the mall, and easy access from the Canada line.

george is dishonest. he charged me 25$ while the poster says that the price is 20$ for the cut. he also rushed the cut and was already done around 10 mins. i will never go back here and you potential customers should just go to steveston barbers where they actually care for you as a customer.

Went here because magic cuts in Lansdowne is permanently closed and Lansdowne barbers wants cash only was in the chair about 5 minutes but soon became aggressive and cutting too fast , i was wondering why he's cutting my hair so fast as there was only one other barber there looking at his phone and a woman waiting , hair was on my face and nose but never used a brush to wipe it off ! I also wanted some off the top which he never did ! $ 20 plus tip !

I do not recommend this place at all. Husband went in for a trim and tidy and experienced the worst haircut of his life.- Uneven length of side burns- Back was still very long and seemed to be unevenly butchered.- Dismissed what my husband wanted, saying that his hair needs blending only (??) and never checked in with him during the cut. Didn’t bother showing mirror to show the back, only a quick show when asked.- Didn’t bother brushing hair off his face, neck.Barber never introduced himself. He looked 40’s-50’s, bigger built, wore a cap and reeked of cigarettes. He was in a rush the whole time when there was no one waiting —as if coming in was an inconvenience to him. Not a welcoming environment at all.Dismissive and incompetent, I am convinced this individual has a concerning lack of skill and respect to customers.Never will be returning and I strongly caution anyone looking to go to them.
