Wojcik's Funeral Chapel & Crematorium

After my mother passed away, I was overwhelmed with emotions. The staff at Wojcik's sat down with us, and provided us with options and information. They took the time to explain everything to my wife and I and were thoughtful and caring. They gave us a checklist of things that we needed to do and explained it to us. They followed up with us along the way to give us updates as to what was going on. Thank you for all of your help.

They were great. Really helpful, answered any of our questions. They broke down the cost of everything. The administration secretary woman was very kind, considering the circumstances, she helped with editing the photo for the obituary and she was warm and friendly. 10/10 I would highly recommend.

This is the second time that I have used Wojcik's and the total experience couldn't be better. This time I dealt with Rachel and Laval. Laval was efficient and responsive. Rachel is sensitive, knowledgeable and kind. She stepped me through everything; answered all my questions, and was there right from when I made the first call, right to the graveside service.

My family has had two funerals services planned with Wojciks funeral chapel. Both funerals were handled with compassion, care, and professionalism.Both funerals were for a grandparent, each handled by my parents. They planned the first funeral with Richard, and the second with Stefan. I’ve asked them if they had any surprises, or unexpected extras on the bill, and they said that all options and pricing were discussed openly at the time of planning. The only surprise they had was receiving a deduction on their bill. Apparently the cost of running the obituary was less than the initial quote. I think this is a good sign of integrity; doing the right thing when nobody is looking.As suggested by a previous post I’ve Googled Richard Wojcik and found he’s done something commendable! Not only did he notice a previous funeral chapel owner had “bilked” customers who had made pre-arrangements, he had the RCMP pursue justice, and he provided free funeral services for several families who had prepaid the previous funeral home. I encourage these people who received Wojcik’s good will to take the time to write about it.As stated before, my family only has positive things to say about Wojcik’s Funeral chapel and the services provided. Thanks Wojcik’s, and its entire staff for taking great care of us during our time of grief.

While dealing with the passing of our mother, and the restrictions in place due to the Pandemic, the staff at Wojcik's was compassionate, understanding, and very helpful. Not only did they fully explain the options and requirements, their suggestions and instructions were very helpful.The funeral director was calming and knew when it was the right time to lighten things with appropriate comments, and when to let us cope. The prices were reasonable and not unexpected.Though a service I don't enjoy needing, I would highly recommend Wojcik's for when you need funeral/cremation services. I know if I am the one having to pick a company for these services in the future, I would definitely trust them again

My father passed away unexpectedly. With no real notice, Wojcik's responded professionally and courteously. Louise, Mark, and everyone I was in contact with were wonderful in their caring attitude and attention to details. I would recommend them to anybody. No hard sell, no pressure, ..just understanding and capable caring.

It was just before the long weekend when Dad died. We called another funeral home, and they asked us to rearrange our already set funeral plans. So, a close friend suggested we call Richard Wojcik. Immediately, with care and efficiency, he met with us. Because Wojcik's has their own crematorium, we were able to have Dad cremated and keep our funeral arrangements as planned. Richard's approach to helping us with all the finer details came from a place of no pressure--we chose what we wanted and what Dad wanted. In our time of loss, Wojcik's attention to every detail was very much appreciated, even down to the simplest act of providing tissues for us to use at the funeral service. Richard was courteous, personable, respectful and efficient in handling the funeral arrangements. The funeral arrangements consisted of a family viewing, a funeral service at their chapel, reception, and internment. The only glitch we had was not having the obituary printed in the memorial folder, which was partially due to a my own proof reading of the memorial for typos rather than for content. Overall, we were very pleased with Wojcik’s service and our family decided to use them again for when our other elderly family members pass along. Thanks again Richard and team for your gracious help and assistance.

Choice this company for my moms service. Service is dated to be in April. But Rachel was compassionate and caring and very accommodating to our requests. Nothing but good service from this company during a very difficult time for our family. Also the cost was very affordable; I didn’t compare to other companies cause I knew right away I wanted to use wojciks. However when speaking with friends and family it sounds like they are very affordable compared to other places by far!
