I was very unhappy with the results of my highlights. What I asked for was nothing to compare with the results. I showed photos before hand and was told that it's completely doable. It wasn't anything complicated, just gold color highlights. I was there for 5 hours, paid 380 dollars and after I mentioned that the color was not right, the stylist blamed me by saying that its because I rushed her and offered me to come back another time to correct the issue. This was for my aniversary trip to Paris, for which we were leaving the following morning. I gave them a chance and came back once I returned. Unfortunately, even after another 4 hours they still were not able to get it right. The most surprising thing is that I was able to have this service done satisfactorily in salons that charged me as low as 70 dollars in the past.I dont mind paying 400 dollars for my hair but my expectations are that the service provider know what they are doing. Also, the most frustrating part is that I've been highlighting my hair for over 20 years in Canada and overseas and never found it so bad. In fact every time I wash my hair , the coIor becomes darker which indicates that even the products that they're using are cheap despite the high price they charge the customer.I will never go back to color town as it feels terrible to be overcharged for bad work.

Best salon! Will not tell me my stylist ( booked already in advance ), but I am sure they are all special!

Just finished hair cut in Coiffure ColorTown! Lino did an excellent job for my hair!!! It’s really difficult to find a hairdresser who can really understand what you need!

Do not go here to colour your hair. The colourists are not well trained and the owner will do anything to get the most $$ out of you. I came here 3 years ago because i want to from my natural dark brown hair to a lighter brown. Without proper consultation they led me to believe the only option was to completely bleach my hair blonde and add a toner. They completely ruined my natural hair, and not to mention the final result looked nothing like pictures i showed them. Even the look on their faces showed that they messed up. Have never returned since after this horrible experience.

Terrible colour job.I’ve never been so disappointed in my life with a colour job.There is no use in telling the colorist you don’t like what they did,because in doing so.She just copped an attitude and proceeded to tell me that I’m wrong in complaining because the colour is exactly what I asked for,Even though it was very off….I asked her to please fix it.In this salon your opinions are not valued.It becomes a game of ego if you are not satisfied.There is no use In telling your colourist that you are not satisfied,because she becomes upset and aggressive…Better just to pay the 350$ and leave unhappy to avoid being diminished and embarrassed in front of other clients…I wish I would have just lied and said I was happy instead of telling Amanda that I’m not satisfied….I would have saved myself the hassle and embarrassment in front of others.I wish I would have gone elsewhere.This was the first time I had visited this salon,and honestly I had high hopes…I ve never been treated so rudely in a salon,nor have I ever felt so embarrassed…and for what? For telling her that the colour is not what I asked for.and kindly fix it?…I should have never gone to this salon,but it was my birthday weekend and my usual salon was fully booked…needless to say,I was out almost 600$..the original 350$ that ColorTown charged me,and the 200$ my usual colorist charged me to fix it later that week…Thank god my usual colorist was able to fix it,and it turned out beautifully….If ColorTown is reading this review,I hope you do better for others who visit your establishment.Like everyone else,I work hard for my money,and I certainly did not deserve to be treated so poorly just because I asked for the colorist to fix what she had done…As my usual salon told me,Color can always be corrected,but it’s very hard to repair a damaged trust.

Enjoy the massage chairs at the hair wash station. Staff is friendly and will offer coffees and other beverages. Nice atmosphere and enjoy myself when I get my hair done. There is wifi just ask for password. Also bring cash for tip since they won't add to your credit card. Recommend!

Amanda was/ is ah-mazing! Today was my first time going to ColorTown and I must admit, I was a bit nervous.But Amanda knew exactly what I wanted and made me feel comfortable & relaxed very quickly! She was very precise and professional with my Balayage- paying attention to every detail, making sure every hair was perfect. She is a pro at color & blending colors seamlessly and has a passion in it.She was super fun to chat too, very friendly and nice & she did a fantastic job on my hair cut too! She knows her stuff! I’m glad I found Amanda at ColorTown!

I have to admit right off the bat that this isn't actually a review in terms of hair because I have not actually been a client at Color Town. But I wanted to share my experience of the wonderful people that work there. I do cat rescue and today one of my foster cats escaped near the salon, and not one but two of the wonderful stylists came out to help me catch her. I just wanted to publicly thank them, and for what it's worth, the owner of the salon has gorgeous hair so that's probably a good sign that you should make an appointment!

First off, I'd like to say that I drive 25 minutes out of my way for this haircut. Andrea is the most consistent barber I've ever had, and very fairly priced at that.The staff is very knowledgeable, and committed to making my visit comfortable (especially during these hard times).During this new transition I feel safer than ever, and it really seems like ColorTown is going above and beyond to make their staff and clients feel safe.
