Went for taste of Italy supperclub. You can tell in some aspects it's definitely students, however, knowing it's students - I think it's definitely worth the money. We had one welcome drink and some of the fruit juice mixes (strawberry/raspberry, strawberry/basil) additional drinks were $7 and had wine, cocktail, a beer, and a mock tail for $6.They even had to go containers because it was just so much food and that was important to us to know at least our food wasn't going to waste, but we could still enjoy the full menu.It started at 6pm with a lounge, drinks, appetizers, and piano music. Then at 7 moved to an individual table fashion (I hear all nights are different) with 5 sectioned meals.Charcuterie board (SO MUCH FOOD)Shrimp and tomato pasta (would have liked more sauce with the pasta)Lemon and blueberry Gelato (tasted like frozen lemonade)A fish in bread for what I could describe looked originally like a calzone, with a small olive and orange salad (wasn't too into the fish, I quite enjoyed the flavour profile of the salad)Tiramisu with some fruit and chocolate. (Pretty standard).I think for $50, you get a really good amount of food - it might not be AMAZING, but my partner and I believe it was well worth the price to support a student. And we got a delicious little lemon cookie.Took some pics but forgot halfway through the night.

Good variety of menu items and value for money. Busy lunch crowd, but plenty of seating. Can also order to go. SAIT students work on set days. I'd eat here regularly if I worked downtown.

I was really surprised. So beautiful. Employees looked engaged and eager to help. I only had coffee, but I will be back to try some food. Great idea to help students get real world experience.

Super high value very high quality food! I had the salt cod fritter salad and will be going back to have it again! Probably the best value place to eat downtown.

This place is centrally located in downtown. Around lunch time is busy but to get a seat is'nt much of a challenge. The place has a lot to offer from ramen, pasta, pizza ,pastries and surprisingly they also have chacuterie board. My favorite is the ramen, broth is very tasty and well portion.

As a small business owner of A Laptop Shoppe, I am impressed with this magnificent, welcoming, active piece of art, allowing SAIT culinary students to exercise and display there talent in a functional environment in downtown Calgary.

Flavorful chowder soup. Best chowder for me. But some people might find it too spicy hot.The bland beef short ribs poutine needs a bit of kick to make it extraordinary. I assume the students are learning the basics but students should be allowed to be creative to bring a different twist to a plain beef ribs poutine.
