We booked with darcis groom room and right away the address is wrong in Google maps so we got to the address and they had moved. We then got there and the later told me next time I should sedate my dog to get his nails done, when in reality he goes to pet smart more than enough and they have never had an issue with him. The lady was extremely unprofessional and we won’t return to this place. The location is also at a dicey run down barn and the following day my dog was extremely sick, our vet said he could have picked something up from that environment.

I never leave reviews but I truly had a terrible experience with this place and want no one else to experience what my dog and i did. my dog left here completely and utterly traumatized, I was charged 60$ more than what their website has listed and the staff were so rude when we arrived for drop off. My dog was there for 4 hours and clearly did not receive any water nor was he let out to use the bathroom. I’ve requested camera footage from this business as my family and I suspect some sort of abuse took place during his appointment.

I don’t have to brag too much because my favorite groomer, Darci just received the Gold prize voted by residents of the Cowichan Valley!! So happy for Darci who is a wonderful person and deserves every bit of the award she was given. Does a superb job with my little dog who can be quite a handful - only minutes from Duncan, easy access off the Trans Canada Highway, easy to book yourself online if need be and no long waits for an appointment - you and your dog (or cat!) will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED ❤️

Fantastic first experience for our kitty, well, as fantastic as grooming can be for a cat I guess. She came home quite relaxed, wasn't traumatized at all, despite a full clip of her long matted hair, you can tell patience and care was used. Thank you will be back!
