I had a car accident in January and I was the victim. Intact told me to ask the car repair at their dealing garage. I asked if I could ask it to repair at the dealership then I would like to , and they only said that I could get a disadvantage.There were 2 places to fix and the estimate was $4500. From my point of view, It seemed very expensive and $2000 was enough to fix it. I have driven the car in an accident state over a month since the accident, and in March I could leave my car at the garage. I expected only few days but even after 2 weeks, it was not repaired, so I asked why and they said they couldn't find the parts.(I didn't understand why they asked me to leave a car without the part). Since then I tracked my car with GPS every day, but one day on the 4th week, my car seemed to be in the dealership not in the garage, and after two days, my car was moved back to the garage. And the next day, the garage called me to come pick up the car.If this was done by dealership in the begining, I could receive my car in two days, but I had to drive a old rental car for last four weeks.There were 2 places to be repaired, but only 1 place was repaired, so when I asked why, the garage said that Intact limited them to repair only 1 place. It was surprising that $4500 was only for one repair, and I was more annoyed that I had to leave it to the same garage again. There was no way excepting askinge that same garage and they said samely they had no parts and I have been waiting for another 3 weeks. Even though while the dealerships was saying that the repair could be made within a week.Inctact does not answer my inquiries by e-mail, and it is not easy to connect with the person in charge even if I call every time. It's been 3 days since I emailed the people who is in charge, but no reply. Today I will try to call her.I have another problem. Whenever I call Intact C/S center with my phone number, it randomly hangs up, so I had to use Skype. I made a claim for this, but Intact just says they don't know why. I filmed this situation on YouTube and sent it to them to check it, but they were not interested in and not even tried to solve the problem.

Great prices compared to other insurances! They are always friendly and professional. And I had to make a claim a year ago and everything went smoothly. They were great!

I called to discuss my policy renewal as the price was increased. Elaine was very helpful in doing a policy update which resulted in a lower premium. The only reason I gave 4 stars was the wait time which was ridiculously long. I also don’t like that I can only call during the week during business hours. I would prefer some evening hours, even limited weekend hours to be more reachable.

Intact insurance company through the broker INOVA claims to provide exclusive offers to Costco memebers and members of other organizations. In fact, this is not true at all as a person can shop around and get a better price with better coverage without being a member of Costco or another organization they have an alliance with.

I just got my car insurance renewal and the price went up by a very considerable amount despite there being no changes on my account. Where are those famous savings" that I was supposed to get from having their app on my phone? They explained it was already reflected in the renewal offer. But my premium went up by $30.00.. not down by a penny. So basically they've been tracking my whereabouts for a year and for what? The only plus to this company is that they have very nice people on the phone but value for money? None. You're better off with another company. I find them very dishonest. Saying people will save money from getting an app that tracks your movements is beyond egregious."

5 years customer no claim . I've changed my car and asked for a quote and they they want just to keep my contract and add more money without explanation about the extra costs and when I asked about the details. I've realized that the price is the double of the market . Also the tracking feature in the app is not working and these days the app is usually out of service . I've found better price , better app , better value outside.

When they tell you that repairs they are done are guaranteed for the lifetime that you own the vehicle... don't believe them.My bumper was popping out days after the repair. When I called back and stated that the bumper is popping out at the exact same place where they repair was made they told me that I have to do a new claim because probably its caused by a hit and run event that I was not aware.Take the time to shop around. I heard that TD Insurance with great. Anybody any suggestions ?

Service delayed means service denied.Its third week over and intact is not responding back. They simply know how to charge more and not going to help customers.My car was hit by someone 3 weeks before at parking lot of Walmart, Jean Talon. I have provided other party’s details to intact. The intact agent simply said other says its mistake from both sides, even I was in car and my car was at stationary position.Intact agent asked me to go to Police and ask Walmart for tape. I went to walmart and called to police as well. The police said its Intact who should ask for tape from walmart.And its 3rd week over now and Im still waiting for response from Intact.Does Intact really take care of its customers??Does only responsibility of Intact is to simply accept lies of other party?Raja Muhammad Afzal
