Dr. Larkai

Basically told me, a 23 year old, that I'm going to be sick my whole life and we don't know why, cant find out why and there is nothing we can do about it. Can't believe this person is an actual doctor.

Didn’t care about me or my issues, told me in 30 years old and I’m fine. Living daily with diarrhea and blood in stool but I guess I’m fine.

Communication with your patients is incredibly important and being transparent with them especially when your health and possibly life could be in jeopardy. The office is incredibly dated and looks unprofessional the receptionist are however nice and pleasant just really wish he could understand the value of a patient to doctor relationship.

Terrible experience. Complete waste of time. Find someone else who will be willing to help you.

I waited 6 months for a 15 minute appointment for this specialist to fob me off and not even do a thorough exam or order any proper tests.Dr Larkai's bedside manner and apathy were horrible. He told me I could maybe have a gastroscope in one year due to covid. Dr Larkai simply shrugged when I pointed out that people could be dying of cancer.Barbers all over SK are doing straight razor shaves where clients aren't even wearing masks, and a GI doctor can't suit up and do scopes?!I was concerned about a medication I was on. He scoffed and told me an anecdotal story about a patient he knows who has been on it for 10 years. This is contradictory to many scientific studies.Dr Larkai didn't care about my diet or pain.I ended up in the emergency deportment less than a week after my appointment with 2 dangerous issues that were caught on one xray.I wish I had read the other reviews and not wasted my time with Dr. Larkai.

If I could give this Doctor a negative 0 I would. Don't go to this doctor extremely unreliable my husband went to see him. He has every symptom of colon cancer. After 6 months of the initial appointment, he called me and said we have ct scan appointment. this is after my husband was already diagnosed with colon cancer, not by this doctor.

Worse doctor in saskatoon. Waste my time
