Brought a watch in for a new battery. No problem. They felt it ready needed a cleaning, or the claps will stop working. I thought I’d just see what happens. Let face it. I can clean it with a toothbrush just fine and it will still work for years. Asked a few times about where it was bought. I said it was a gift for one of my sons. 35 for the battery. I think that’s fine. 35 to clean. I think that’s unreasonable. They asked again where did you get it. On the way out the door I said his grandmother brought it for him here. “Oh, then the battery is free”. No I’m not interested. I read a few reviews. I don’t plan on returning. They have my 70 and that’s it.

Excellent service. Friendly and patient staff members who made sure I was taken care of. I came in here looking for a Christmas present for myself. Walked around multiple times comparing different watches and going back and fourth before finally settling on a RADO captain cook, which is a great addition to my watch collection. You guys rock! Very pleased. Took my wedding band in since the base was cracked and they fixed it and cleaned it at a very affordable price. The staff is friendly and my ring was done in a few hours. Definitely recommend

I brought a gold chain to get fixed and left the pendant on the chain thinking it was safe to leave. The pendant is from 5 generations and is a custom piece of solid gold. They cut 1/3 of the original gold and soldered on different gold. Or what appears to be gold. I had the worst feeling in my gut when I picked up the repaired chain and pendant. I took one look and immediately knew it was altered. There are clear solder tip markings that were not there before. With 2 pin sized holes in the pendant from the solder gun. They said they just repaired the chain. But my gut and my eyes don’t lie. I had no photos to compare so I couldn’t prove anything. The pendant is over 100 years old… At the end of the day it’s my fault for trusting random people and putting my most prized possession in the wrong hands. I wish I could put 0 stars for this review.

They replaced a diamond shank with a plain one this summer & kept 2 of my 22 diamonds. (Got them back with no argument when I asked) and THEN... last Christmas I had them replace a lost stone & check & repair the claws in a diamond dinner ring I inherited from my mother. I took it home & put it straight into my jewellery box. I wore it for the first time in November and, within an hour, during which all I did was sit in a car & transfer to another car, it lost another diamond. Because it was almost a year ago I can't do anything about it but post this review to warn others.

I took my late father's Longines watch in for repair. The Longines website said when working correctly it should keep time to 5 seconds a day. I mentioned this when I brought it in and the watch guy said he would not guarantee it but it would be close. But after picking it up, it is still within a few seconds five days later. That is astounding to me for a watch that is fifty years old and powered by a spring. Job well done!
