ONE Fertility
Being plus size, I was a bit intimidated working with a fertility clinic in fear of judgements. This was not the case here and I was treated equally. Everything was explained well and I found the staff very friendly. I got pregnant my first round of meds/TI and the clinic was very helpful when I had concerns and fit me in quickly for emergency checks. Overall a very pleasant experience!

We chose this clinic because it was one of the closest clinics to us (if you call an hour and a half drive close). Staff at the clinic are amazing. I found the nurses, ultrasound techs and lab techs are extremely kind and knowledgeable. Care from the nurses was always timely and professional. One of my complaints about the clinic is how much of the decor and advertising portrays children, pregnancy and babies. There's pictures on the walls of women labouring and pregnant or of women with babies. We are attending this clinic because of fertility problems. It would be kinder to have less triggering decor and advertisements. You cannot guarantee us children so please make those visits slightly less triggering. This journey is hard enough.I find the attending physicians to not be very caring. There is little to no empathy from them. I still have not met my physician in person despite having attended the clinic for the last 1 1/2 years. I honestly have felt like a source of income and a statistic for them. We have no formal diagnosis and I feel as though there was very limited investigations. There is a big push towards IUI and IVF which are extremely costly. I recently had a miscarriage after my first FET and have had very little support since, no counselling services, etc. My calls about spotting and cramping were brushed off as normal and I lost the baby a week later. The fellows and residents have been more empathetic and have performed most of my care. Honestly, I would much rather see them than my attending physician because they are more empathetic. This journey is extremely taxing emotionally, mentally and physically, and I honestly feel like the attending physicians could care less. I am a nurse so I understand that there needs to be some detachment but the level I have experienced from my attending is just beyond understanding.Update: Things have greatly improved since I have written this review. My physician saw the review and she addressed it directly with me. Since then, my care has greatly improved and I am much happier with my experience at the clinic. The clinic also reviewed my advice about the pictures and advertisements, and they have all been changed! Since my review, I lost another baby and the care has been compassionate. We received some referrals and resources to help my husband and I cope. Honestly, I was very impressed that my review improved my care so much. I would now recommend the clinic to others.

I had a very pleasant experience with ONE Fertility. The nurses were amazing and would always call me back within an hour or two and answer all of my questions and help relieve my anxiety. The ultrasound technicians were lovely and I felt like everyone cared. My only complaint is that I was not able to meet my doctor in person - there were only a few phone calls but when I requested extra testing, Dr. Faghih happily obliged. I have recommended ONE to several co-workers and friends

I don't even know where to start with ONE fertility...After transferring from another clinic my husband and I were very skeptical and was not sure what to expect. ONE fertility surpassed all expectations and more that we had before starting with the clinic. From the very welcoming lovely ladies at the front desk, to Lisa in the pharmacy my initial thought of the clinic were amazing. The IVF team (of doctors and nurses) was so supportive, informative and quick to respond when I had a question or to even be there for support. I would especially like to thank Dr. Buwembo for being the most dedicated, trustworthy and caring Doctor that I have every dealt with. She made me feel comfortable, listened to all my questions and answered with her honest opinion. I am beyond thankful for her support and I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for her.I have nothing bad to say about this clinic and would one hundred percent recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking to start their fertility journey.

Worst place ever!! All they want is your money. Without that, good luck getting any help or a conversation with the doctor. I had to wait 2 months for a ZOOM CALL, and 2 1/2months for my results. And now they’re requesting for me and my wife to retake some tests, that I’m sure I’ll have to pay for again. It’s BS. The only thing positive is the front staff, helpful and friendly. But as for a clinic….save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. The only reason why I’m sticking around is because my funding has been approved. If it wasn’t for the government funding, I’d be gone!!

I graduated from One fertility last month, after becoming successfully pregnant on my 2nd round of IUI medicated cycles.Staff were always very friendly, compassionate and caring on my visits. It did involve a lot of visits durning my cycle monitoring for back to back blood work, ultrasounds, but they were through during my monitoring cycles. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars, is that I only saw the doctor I was assigned to one time. After I did become pregnant, each of my follow up appointments/ ultrasounds were with 2 different doctors each time. Seeing as it was a rough first couple weeks of my pregnancy and my first it was kind of annoying having to go all over everything again with a new doctor.I do understand the doctors are busy, but It would be great to work with my assigned doctor more, instead of bouncing around doctors. After my first IUI medicated cycle failed, it would have been great to meet with the doctor and kind of touch base and come up with a plan for my next cycle to see how we could improve my chances.I definitely would come back to One fertility if we decide to have a second child and have troubles conceiving. But I hope for a more one on one with the doctor I’m assigned to.

I have mixed feeling. We started with one right before the pandemic.. everything felt like it was on standstill. I feel like any progression has to be patient driven. There is absolutely no follow up unless you follow up yourself. My partner and I have secondary infertility with no known issues, minus my weight. I am over weight but extremely healthy overall. We were never told of the funded list and I had to ask myself, losing time. When it came time for our funded cycle while grateful for it the inconsistency of u/s techs had me on a rollercoaster of emotions. The first several were done by the same tech who had no issues finding my higher ovary. She acknowledged that it was high but never made it seem as if it would be an issue. The ones I had later had extreme difficulty finding it. I knew our retrieval was a long shot but after the fact I’ve heard of people having high ovaries extracted abdominally and had success. Why was this not presented to me? After having what was told to be text book fertilized eggs they all arrested and really that’s been the end of my journey with ONE. Never to of heard from them again until finding out my doctor there is leaving the practice. Unless you’re willing to make the calls and pay the price don’t be surprised if you don’t get anywhere. Pregnancy really is a miracle at the end of the day and we were no better off with ONEs assistance. I stated off there after a loss of sorts. I still to this day don’t even understand what it was. At the end of the day it felt like a business which I get that it is but with this journey it would have been nice to of felt like a person.

Wow where to start. Five years ago we were referred here. From the initial visit we waited two hours to see the doctor. Had to fight for every follow up and notes to be sent to our GP. Was discriminated against due to age and told we didn't need IVF yet. Only had success after IVF. Incorrect information in our charts.Marlene is absolutely unprofessional in her management of patients. Rude and not compassionate. Snaps at patients when she has a bad day. It is a reflection on this terrible clinic that they would appoint her to the highest nursing position.Clinic charged us tooth and nail even for copies of our reports which we are entitled to (and we have spent $60000 at the clinic already - you still need to charge us for 10 sheets of paper?). Impossible to get a hold of a physician for follow up.As a healthcare practitioner, I now send people elsewhere. Would never refer or recommend anyone to this clinic.

I just want to reach out and thank the fertility clinic. Me and my wife tried for so many years to have a baby. We finally have one because of your clinic. We are so appreciative. Everyday is a blessing with him. Good bless you guys. Hope for more families to have the same success. Thank you so much. ❤️

After 5 years, 4 losses, I have my beautiful baby girl. I am 35 years old, Did only one round of IVF with PGT testing and it worked! I strongly recommend that if you do IVF, do PGT testing as well, and acupuncture.I found all the nurses, ultrasound technicians to be very nice. They have a team approach, so if you expect to be talking just to one doctor and that's it, you will be disappointed. In the same time throughout the process of IVF, they would phone me and inform me of the results promptly which I really appreciated as the whole process can be stressful.
