The guys at Golden ears were awesome. I didn't know Jamie when I called him up but he was a total pro with great ideas that helped us get exactly what we wanted. They did the job on time at a reasonable price and things turned out great. It was a pleasure working with them. Thanks Jamie.

Had these guys frame up my Garage.ProsMy garage passed its inspection.I was able to save a little money on building suppliesThey helped limit some of the waste by ripping up some of my wood leftover from my footings and re using them.Were cognizant of my dogs not getting outI was able to return some lumber that didn't get used, that being said the extra 100 ft of floor joists was probably a little overkill.Negativeslack of attention to details,I was quoted a price without them fully realizing the scope of the work,Didn't realize the access concerns so after listening to them complain about it I just moved all the wood to the project site myself.Paid extra for the hours to cut hand rafters which was not the problem, the problem is not knowing if or when they would show up or what hrs they actually worked. Usually sat in there car by 10 am, got out by 10:30, worked an hr took lunch gone by 3 and that was the days they were there. Some days they just didn't show. There was a couple full days in there.A 1 week project took over 3 weeks.Messed up some cuts ie.. fascia board, instead of getting a new one just added a short length to it so now it has a seem in it(looks kind of getto)shorted some rafters so there is a gap between the rafter and the beamdidn't want to look for the post that was sitting in the wood pile so they made one out of 2x6Some of the framing isn't flush either for the drywall they said they would fix but that didn't happenAnd just a house keeping item everyday I got home from work I had to go around picking up all their garbage because I was tired of watching my dog eat it.Overall I don't think they are bad people or don't know what they are doing I just think instead of all these good reviews maybe we can all learn something.

I hired James and his company to complete an addition to my home plus a full interior renovation after getting a referral from my neighbor who hired James to build a wrap around, custom design deck. She was most impressed with the professionalism and the outcome of the project as was I. James was extremely knowledgeable and was able to provide me a beautiful outline of the scope of work and stuck to it. He was on time, the project was completed as expected and I will use him in the future. My new space is more than I expected it to be and I am so in love with the finishings. Everything matches my current home and I will be calling again in the future for more work. Thanks James

We had James and his GEHI crew renovate our back deck. They replaced rotted sections , changed the configuration , and added new decking for both levels. James had helpful suggestions on how to improve the looks and functionality of the deck. His crew was very professional and worked through rain and snow to finish the job. We are very pleased with the quality of the work. Our new, stunning deck will now get a lot of use.

Jamie helped bring my dream garage project to life as well as remodel my old garage into a new basement suite. He's really easy to work with and knows what he's doing. Highly recommended.

We had a full deck rebuild done including new cement pad. Jamie and his team did an amazing job and we are so happy with the final product. It was completed In a timely manner, Jamie kept in touch with progress reports throughout the project and came in on budget.

I used this company for drywall repair from water damage. Their attention to detail was fantastic. Jamie and his crew were great to deal with, respectful of my home, on time and honest. I would use them again.

We needed flooring and drywall repairs (walls/ceiling) after we had leaks that led us to repipe the house. Jamie and his crew were very thorough. All the people who showed up were professional, considerate, and respectful. They did a fantastic job. Everything was left clean and the house looks better than it did before the leaks.
