I followed my vegan friends to this small café and enjoyed some of the best vegan Pad Thai ever - just as good, if not better, than the meat-eater's version I've tried elsewhere. The iced mushroom-mocha chocolate drink I had was somewhat gritty & just OK, but still I drank it cuz I was thirsty. // The decor is all natural light woods and minimalist, which helps to infuse the small room with light. There is a single long & deep table inside with a long bench and some chairs - or you can try the more popular benches & tables outside. But seating is quite limited. All in all, I had a chill & enjoyable lunch here.

Amazing place! So cute and welcoming space. Food is delicious and everything so fresh and made in house. The baked goods are SO GOOD, and coffee is the best! The owners and staff are so friendly, efficient and they make the experience dining here perfect! LOVE YAYU! ❤️

Yayu Cafe
We LOVE coming here every time we visit Ucluelet. As tourists, it can be tough to find healthier plant based options seeing as we don't have our own kitchen. We end up coming here for a lot for coffees and delicious food and treats to bring to the beach. The young couple running this place are hardworking and delightful.

Just beautiful food served by wonderful people. We have been here last year said we would be back for sure. This week we have been twice. The abundance bowls are just to die for and the baked good, we had a raspberry scone truly delicious. Probably be back tomorrow too.

Amazing place to get breakfast or lunch, brunch. Their pad Thai is not the oily type you're thinking of. Lots of greens, wonderful mix bits of everything. Spicy just enough but not exaggerated.Also got their smoothie bowl with bliss smoothie granola. Fantastic mix of fruits and fresh peach slices. What a great way to start before the rainforest trail.They have indoor and outdoor seating. A little bar to look out at the mountains (hills?) not sure, I'm new here and a tourist. wewlad

Great place to have a really good savory vegan brekkie! Pricing seems reasonable (50$ for 2 incl. coffee and extra cookie) compared to other places.

Such a cute little place and their food is amazing. I'm usually a very picky eater and not a huge veggie/tofu fan but their abundance bowl was incredible. The staff was informative and sweet and the food was amazing, highly recommend!!

We really love this place. The quality of ingredients is felt, we ate here 2 days in a row. My friend who loves a meaty breakfast enjoyed the vegan sausage and avo toast with feta". It was a great break from all the food we had been eating during our trip. It definitely helped to settle our stomachs. The Matcha latte was my favorite the oatmilk is the only one I tasted that we actually liked. Although a bit pricey we do recommend it. Also

We stopped in for lunch early in May and loved Yayu.The people are cheerful and friendly and the bowls we had were terrific. As vegetarians we love finding a spot like Yayu where there is plenty of choice and the food is so good.Thought there were spots inside to eat, we took our food to a picnic bench near the aquarian for a beautiful picnic.We'll be back!

I recently tried the fully loaded vegan Mac N Cheese at Yayu Cafe, and it was fantastic! The flavors were incredible, and I couldn't believe it was entirely plant-based.What I appreciate about Yayu Cafe is their commitment to offering diverse and delicious plant-based options. It's refreshing to find a place that embraces different dietary preferences and still delivers outstanding taste.I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Yayu Cafe, where I'll have the opportunity to explore more of their menu.
