Jim's Moving

Jim's Moving was recommended to us, and we're very happy we went with them! The movers were really quick and efficient. I'll recommend them to anyone doing a move in the greater Vancouver area. Hands down the best movers I've had. Meredith was great with communication and made scheduling and planning our move a breeze!

My moving experience with Jim's Moving was outstanding. I had never hired movers before but they were worth their weight in gold! Meredith was great, confirmed everything the day before which relieved a lot of the moving stress. The movers themselves were quick, efficient and friendly. I used Jim's Moving company back in late December to move from Burnaby to Coquitlam. When I first connected with Meredith, he was professional and responsive as we were awaiting for our new home to be built so our potential move-in date regularly changed, and we even had to cancel a move date 2 days before intended move.However, he did not make any fuss or pressure, and no charge for rescheduling. Meredith was very empathetic and understanding. We actually had to move on December 27th (coldest day in Vancouver history), and Meredith called on Christmas and Boxing Day to ensure we were good but also to advise of the weather.Once his crew showed up, I fully expected a 6-8 hour day as a full 10X15 storage locker moving into a 3 story townhome plus a 30 minute drive in normal weather conditions (let alone the cold day so figure drive will be more like an hour to be safe). They got completed in 3.5 hours total and put everything where we needed to make it easy to unpack ourselves, and nothing damaged.Everything was professional, and definitely recommend them.

We had Jim's Moving move the majority of the contents of our apartment. I think we surprised them with how much we had to move; they definitely surprised me with how quickly and efficiently they managed to move everything. They were very careful with all of our stuff and packed everything into the truck expertly. The movers themselves were very punctual, very professional, and very hard-working. We are extremely happy with the service they provided us, and we will absolutely turn to them first for any future moving jobs.

A excellent moving company that I use not once but twice this month. Both times I was very impressed by their diligence and hard work where are they able to clear my place and move it to a storage locker all within a very quick and timely manner while respecting my furniture. Overall recommend them to anybody who's considering a move.

Definitely recommend this company. They know what they are doing. They made our move so easy and worry free. From Meredith explaining everything on the phone and listening to our concerns to the two movers who did an excellent job, it was a great experience. Martin and Chase loaded and unloaded everything so quickly and carefully and even took the time to set things in the right places and lifted up our big screen tv's onto the stands as well. We will be using Jim's moving for our next move for sure.

An amazing team of professional movers who took a massive burden off of my shoulders with their care and attention to detail, allowing our move to be smooth and a stress free experience. My family would like to thank Meredith and the team.

This is my third time using Jim's Moving for my move and I highly recommend them to any of my friends when moving. Meredith quite graciously fit me into his already full schedule and was great with the communication throughout.His staff, Martin and Chase (hope I got the names right), were professional, fun and extremely hard working. They managed my move in less than two hours (MOVING TIP - it helps if you're organized so they can just do their thing on your moving day!).I can't say enough good things about this company. Thank you again Meredith for all the help over the last six years!

This review is about a year late. Last October we were moving into our new house - had our things in a storage unit and were just checking out of the AirBNB. We booked a move through another company (oomovers), which turned out to be a disaster. They had sent a pickup truck and trailer to move an entire house.Anyways - we call Jim's Moving and explain our predicament. They were able to schedule a move for the next day (5 ton truck and three strong guys). The guys that showed up were fast, and responsible with our belongings. Will definitely use Jim's Moving anytime I need to move in the future.
