Wallace + Wallace Fences

The work and craftsmanship of Wallace and Wallace is easily rated 5 stars, however the disorganization and lack of communication within the office branch led to a less desirable experience.It began when I arranged to have a quote for my residential fence. Fortunately within a couple of weeks I was able to have someone to come out to assess the area and provide me with a quote.After receiving that quote I contacted the office to proceed with the installation and was told that my file would go to the coordinator who would then contact me about a date which could take about a week. Two weeks later no response. I followed up with the office to inquire and was told by Tom the wood manager that they were booked up with commitments to the end of the year for wood work. Needless to say I was baffled because when I called to make the consultation this information was not provided to me, furthermore at the time of the consult I was yet still not made aware of this information given that the estimate was valid for only 30 days.Tom followed up with my case to which he found there was no work order started for my residential fence but found that he may be able to fit my installation in as his team would be doing work in my condo complex. Needless to say I'm so grateful to Tom for resolving the matter and having my fence installed which I am very happy with.During that time however to add to the frustration was the telephone tag with numerous associates in the office to obtain the necessary information to provide payment and receive an invoice/reciept (no one was keeping record and contacted me about payment). I've had people indicate that they would call me back, follow up and send certain documentation which was not the case. When calling the office it seems as though no one knows what is going on and you are transfered to multiple people. It's unfortunate that the lack of communication and coordination in the office has a great affect on the overall service provided to customers. As the first point of contact I think that dealing with the office should be seamless and compliment the excellent craftsmanship that Wallace and Wallace provides.

We required a new 14' chain link gate as a replacement. The service was very fast and professional. Good work.

Excellent craftsmanship. The construction supervisor was available for all adjustments decided once work started, overall totally recommend and 100% satisfied!

On the weekend my wife and I were inside our home and heard a very loud pop come from the garage. We checked in and didn’t find anything out of place. It wasn’t until we attempted (unsuccessfully) to open our garage door that we realized one of the lift springs had snapped. We didn’t realize how reliant we were on our garage until we lost the use of ours! I called several businesses in panic Monday morning and it was Wallace and Wallace that answered my call. They had a technician down that morning. He was able to custom make two springs and have us back in operation very soon after my initial call. He also pointed out several components of my garage door assembly that were beginning to show signs of wear. He went above and beyond and lubricated all the bearings and hinges and now our door opens and closes much more quietly. Great service and a very knowledgeable tech.Thank you Wallace and Wallace!

UPDATELast week I was contacted by Nathan from Wallace and Wallace. He took the time to listen and understand my concerns and the next day had everything resolved with a sincere apology for any confusion.Wallace snd Wallace came highly recommended to us when we needed a fence repair. They had come out and give us a quote which we were OK with. When the day came for installation the two workers agreed that replacing two of the posts listed were actually not needed and when I asked them if that meant my bill would go down they said absolutely. The only thing they removed from my bill was the $84 for the two posts that they did not replace. But they left the Labour the same. So I basically paid $400 for one hour of labour which included removing 13 feet of chain-link and replacing it along with the pole along the top.Now I could see that labour charge if they had to remove two posts and reinstall them but they didn’t. They said it’s a set minimum price. I had also requested a detailed final invoice with the breakdown of materials and labour which I did not receive. I write estimates for customers everyday, and always make sure my customers can see exactly what they are paying for.

Wallace & Wallace did an excellent job with installing our patio fencing at Sookram's Brewing Co. Very good customer service and when we needed any sort of adjustment, they were very accommodating to ensure we were happy. Fast, efficient, and great customer service. Cheers!

Very accommodating. Great service. Staff was amazing. Went over and above the call of duty.

Their crew obviously doesn't care about inconveniencing others and park their truck where ever they feel like. Not only did they park their truck and trailer in a well marked fire lane, but they also blocked off the only access to the rear of the property and the loading lane. When they were politely asked to move they simply turned away and went about their business. They should realize that when it says Wallace and Wallace on the side of their truck their poor behavior represents the whole company.
