Southern Acres completed a large project at our residences over a two month period. Every day they turned up on time and worked a full shift, they communicated well and always worked and acted with integrity. Their quality of workmanship was superior in nature and they have a very broad range of construction experience and knowledge. I would highly recommend them for any newbuild or renovation project.

Our relationship with Southern Acres Contracting started with an exterior painting contract that snowballed into an interior one (including vaulted ceilings) and then into a siding and facia repair/replacement. Our experiences with Laura, and her painting team, were nothing short of top notch. The energy they brought was jovial, courteous, and respectful while they always arrived on time and ensured to clean up at the end of each day. Laura’s expertise helped guide us through paint choices and she ultimately ended up choosing our interior colour for us; anyone who has ever tried to choose the right temperature of white knows this struggle all too well.When it came to the exterior painting, we actually needed some rotted wood siding replaced prior to her start. Unfortunately, two weeks before that job was supposed to begin, our highly recommended siding contractor emailed me to inform me that he had taken on new development projects and was bumping our small job out of the cue. This was quite upsetting considering he had agreed to the timeline six months prior and was going to mill the wood himself. We informed Laura of our predicament and she let us know that Miles might be able to squeeze us in between jobs.Not only were we incredibly grateful and relieved, we were just as impressed with his workmanship as we were with hers. He found a mill to mill our (no longer available) siding, he collected and delivered it, he continually showed up when he said he would, his attention to detail matched our own, and he did it all with a smile. He even slid in a few extra little jobs we needed done while he was here and brought us some reference material for a future project we had in mind. We absolutely cannot recommend this crew enough and we will be using them for all of our projects going forward!

Laura is very hard-working and does excellent, high-quality work! Her company Southern Acres painted the entire interior of my new home as well as my exterior doors. She will next tackle my posts and beams. I would not hire anyone else for painting.

Miles has done amazing work for us since we first started using him 3 years ago. His attention to detail is phenomenal and he is prompt, on time, hard working and generally a good man! Cannot recommend him more.

Southern Acres Contracting painted my kitchen, kitchen cabinets, and bathroom. I was very pleased with the results. Laura made some excellent suggestions that helped me choose the colours. I found the price very reasonable, and her quote was accurate. Most importantly, Laura and her partner showed up when they said they would, kept a very clean worksite ( dust was kept to a minimum), and finished the job quickly. They used top quality paint and took my cabinet doors off site to properly spray them. I would highly recommend this company!
