Centre Vétérinaire Daubigny

My dog needed a small surgery on his belly and they did a great job. They took the time to explain all the details regarding the surgery and post-surgery. It's expensive but to be expected when you look at the quality they provide. If you need a basic appointment, your basic vet will do the job but if you need a medical expertise, they are the right place to go.

I've been to Daubigny a handful of times. We live in Edmundston, New Brunswick and first went to Daubigny with our cat, Mousse. What started as a dental consult turned into a cardiology consult where she was found to have advanced heart disease. With the help of the team at Daubigny, she lived another two years on heart medication! When she passed, they mailed us a beautiful condolences card.We also went to Daubigny for two nare surgeries for two different cats. Internal medicine and the surgeons were supportive, empathetic, and dedicated. Both cats can now breath easily thanks to them!Finally, our girl Sangria recently underwent a liver lobectomy to remove a large mass. We were terrified for her, but again internal medicine and surgery were excellent. We got regular updates after surgery. They took the time to explain the surgery beforehand which helped get rid of some of the fear of the unknown that we were experiencing. They also gave detailed instructions after surgery. I was very impressed with the quality of their work. The incision is barely visible, and I can tell that the sutures were done with expertise.The veterinary specialists aren't the only people I want to thank. I want to thank the incredibly friendly veterinary technicians and the receptionists. Veterinary visits are always stressful, but seeing a smiling face when you walk in sure helps. The atmosphere at Daubigny also helps -- clean floors, a nice modern look, free coffee and oranges, a clean bathroom, comfortable seating area, etc.Yes, specialist care is expensive, but I'd rather pay more to know that my cats are in very capable hands and client service is the best I've ever had. I always recommend Daubigny to my friends and family when their pets have complicated health issues.

It's never a happy moment when our fur babies are sick ....Today, we had the opportunity to use this amazing veterinary center for our girl ..Very kind , knowledgeable staff ..Clean Facility... Comfortable sitting area ..ParkingOutside sitting areaHealthy food choices are available ..

Fantastic hospital! When we brought our dog to Daubigny, she was so sick that there was very little chance that she would survive. Dr. Daure and the rest of the team at Daubigny pulled off a miracle and saved her life!! She has made a full recovery thanks to their incredible work. Thank you for giving Sweetpea her life back.

Changing my review, received a call 2 days later that the urine culture was never actually done. So after a traumatizing 4 hours for my cat at the vet, days of her peeing everywhere, while waiting for the antibiotics to work, we now don’t even know if they are the proper antibiotics. So have to start from square one. Awful

At Daubigny, you can depend on an accurate diagnosis and treatment, but you have to be referred by another vet to get an appointment or come in on an emergency basis which includes a $250+ fee (including the exam). It is fast, however, and they have specialists and testing available on site.

We sat 5 hours in the waiting area for our dog to be viewed by the Veterinarian. Many times we were sitting in the waiting room by ourselves wondering when someone would come out to let us know when someone would spend time with us. Absolutely disappointed in this place. No communication at all and they fall back on the delay due to treatments going on behind the magic and mysterious wall that nobody can go behind to accompany their pets. You don’t get attention at this place until you make a scene in the waiting area where other customers might hear about the terrible service they provide. I would never leave our pet overnight with this place! Run from them. We will never visit them again.

In case of emergency, a wounded animal that's young and will recover they are perfect. If you are ready to spend...With the dam pandemic it's even worst though. I understand the pandemic part but, they're really only there to make money on people's hope that their animal could recover. Tests, tests, tests and horribly expensive medication. They didn't even administer the 1st dose. Even after being told they were done and they would give me the prescription, I had to wait near 45 minutes in the parking to get my cat back! How hard is it to put a few pills in a bottle and give me the bill? And in conclusion. I'm pretty sure I'll have to have her put down tomorrow =,( I have an appointment to have her checked at another vet but I couldn't wait 36 hours. I'll use it for euthanasia...

Nov. 7,2017, my cat a 6 year old (Snow Bengal) arrived in this hospital for emergency attention. Cause... vomitting and gasping breath, unknown source what it is?VH doctor findings: Presumably having a fluid on my cat's lung,and might be Hereditary... just by his instrument stestoscope"(not even performing how?on our very own eyes with our cat...on the examination table..My comment:VH doctor

I live in New Brunswick and I contacted Dr. Jérôme D'Astous when I noticed that my dog had a fractured fourth premolar. I was expecting to have a root canal done to save the tooth if possible (as was Dr Jérôme based on the photos I sent). I travelled the 6+ hours to get to this vet and I am so glad that we did. They were all very friendly there and Dr Jérôme D'Astous was amazing! He inspected my dogs tooth and even did a FREE dental cleaning while he was under. He decided to put a sealant on my dogs tooth and have it rechecked in 6 months because he thought it would be just fine. I was kind of sceptical but at his 6 month recheck his tooth is looking just great! The staff was amazing and very accommodating with my dog and I considering his fears of the vet. I would definitely recommend Dr Jérôme D'Astous for anyone that has dental issues.
