I was disappointed the butter chicken tasted nothing like a butter chicken. Eatable yes...but I would not call it a butter chicken the spices were way off... The rice was bland BUT the Naan though!!!! Was the star in my meal; I would only buy that next time.

Had the Naan-wich and it was soooo good, the naan itself had so much flavour, usually chicken in chicken wraps are quite dry so there’s a sauce added to compensate as far as I could tell there wasn’t a separate sauce they just used chicken already marinated and cooked in sauce like butter chicken and so the chicken was so incredibly moist and flavourful by itself. The yogurt dip it came with was perfectly refreshing. Everything together worked great a perfect blend while also being able to taste each individually

This is one of the restaurants in Time Out Market. It's a good Northern Indian place and I enjoyed both the chana masala and butter chicken. The portions are large so you get your money's worth. The mango lassi was also delicious.

It was delicious biryani! Me and my husband love Indian food so we have tried a lot of Indian food and this biryani was delicious enough! It was savory and not too much spice! I loved it and they were nice too. I recommend Chicken biryani!

The one star is for the garlic nan but at $5, I'm on the fence. I don't write reviews ever but for $28 for rice, nan and butter chicken, I have never felt so let down and felt compelled to write it down.Worst butter chicken I've ever had in my life. Tasted like coloured cream. No flavour. No salt. Not spice. Just cream. My husband tried to make sure I didn't catch Covid and lose my buds. 4 thumbs down.

Located inside Timeout Market, Le Taj offers Indian cuisine, which is pleasant to see rather than having constantly burger-poutine-pasta options. Some of their menu that i remember: butter chicken, biryani (options: chicken, lamb, vegetable), naan bread, mango lassi. The portion definitely would curb your hunger, it has decent amount of lamb chunks in the biryani, and my drink of choice, mango lassi, was very good! I'd recommend and absolutely will return.

This costed me $24 before tax.. the plain naan is $4 and the dish(Lamb curry) is $20. A bit pricy and the staff is impatient. The food tasted ok but probably will choose something else next time.

The naanwich was good but a bit dry and fairly expensive. The garlic naan was quite good!Expect a loud area, but fun vibes.

Great restaurant in Montreal market ended up eating all of my food and noticed how delicious is indian food . Also it was very spicy for me and I couldn’t handle it so I asked a guy to make it less spicy . The bread which is called Naan was really good my food is vegetarian and overall was good. The only thing I didn’t touch at all was the rice

Visited this location with my family and our group had lots of complicated orders but the staff were very friendly, patient and nice. The guy working at the cash was very informative, understanding and helped us order the food. The food was great, especially the biryani. Thank you Vishal!
