I do not recommend this law firm. We entrusted our important application for a Lonely Canadian Sponsorship to Andrew Maloney and immigration consultant Aderinmola Utake, assuming that an immigration law firm would be the best and most effective way to proceed. To our great disappointment, even though all information and documents needed and requested were provided,  there were many errors and oversights made on the application forms. Had I not noticed these errors, they would have resulted in many delays, with the application being rejected or returned for correction by IRCC . After losing confidence in the ability of Ms Utake to competently complete and follow through with the application, we requested a refund of the fees paid. Mr. Maloney responded in a very rude and unprofessional manner, and refused to refund any fees paid.It takes attention to detail and good comprehension of English, but with those two skills, the application process can be adequately handled WITHOUT the assistance of a law firm.Edited to add response to Pilkington:On the contrary, after many emails back and forth to correct small details, the forms with significant errors were sent for printing and final signing to the person seeking sponsorship, and payment of the remainder of the fee plus the government fee were requested. (thankfully not paid or we probably would have lost those also) These applications are to be signed acknowledging that all information is true and accurate...which it was not, although we and the sponsored party had been assured by Ms Utake that details I questioned were correct. Time and expense are involved in couriering documents from the other side of the world. This would have been repeated how many times, and with what delay, if I had not researched and found the significant errors?
